I didn’t want to believe that the printed paper was a thing of the past so I subscribed to the Sunday paper as a way to support local journalism. Sadly, it seems that the rumors were true. I subscribed in December, have contacted customer …
Great paper
Very helpful at this location.
Wonderful place to work!
Eager journalists doing their best.
No one calls you back EVER
Absolutely horrendous delivery service! Nonexistent customer service!
A great place to work at and a company that really cares about the community.
If I could give 0 stars I would.
Don’t call The Oklahoman unless you have about 30 minutes to wait on hold!
Usually delivered by 5 a.m. When missed it’s because a new employee or weather problem prevailed.
Their website is pathetic. They can’t even do that part right! They aren’t even trying to do anything to appeal to the Oklahoma citizens. I could go on and on, but they don’t deserve my free criticism.
Terrible newspaper that’s not even fit to line a birdcage.
I don’t think this paper will be in business very much longer!!!!
Current owners are the epitome of bad service!!!
Can’t even deliver the paper with any consistency not to mention the reduction …
It absolutely an embarrassement, that a city of this size does not a newspaper, that has a distribution system that can deliver to its subscribers.
I have been a subscriber for over 50 years,i seen the decline of this once proud …
Can’t get the Oklahoman and I’ve been trying since February 17. I live in an apartment complex and I think they just don’t want to come back into this rain dance complex. I guess it would probably take too much time for them to drive all the way back in to the complex for one paper.
Signed up and only got 1 paper delivered in a whole month. They “credit” account but if you don’t pay for the next month, you don’t get what you paid for. Terrible delivery service. Better off picking it up somewhere.
The Oklahoman doesn’t even deserve a star! Me and my husband were paper carriers for extra money. Only to be screwed on $ and are car getting messed up. The managers are crap. They don’t know how to do their jobs. And forget trying to get a …
My husband moved to OK after living his whole life in NY. I try to convince him how great OK is but one of the biggest disappointments we face is not being able to find a Sunday newspaper. He doesn’t want to read the news on line. Very Unprofessional Oklahoman!!!
I canceled my subscription over a year ago because I wasn’t reading the articles or using the coupons. They have been calling me every other week trying to get me to subscribe again. I tell them No every time and asked that they stop …
We received a renewal notice that said the new annual price would be $450 (more than twice the cost for last year’s paper which had about twice as much news). We found an online deal for about $225 for year – so we did that. Then they …
Bought a groupon for a years worth of Sunday/Wednesday newspaper that said in the small print that it was non-renewable. They kept delivering papers after the non-renewable groupon ended and then charged me for those papers. Shortly …
Started a new subscription for Wednesday and Sunday service on January 27th It is now February 14th and we have yet to see a printed paper delivered to our address. very disappointing to spend so much up front and not get the service that …
My Mom has a subscription to the Daily Oklahoman. She pays $101 for 26weeks of delivery. She calls weekly for non deliverery. She has had a subscription to this paper for at least 50yrs. It is sad to see one of your most dedicated …
An Oklahoman delivery driver continually litters my yard with the Buyers Edge week after week. I have called the Oklahoman multiple times the response every time is “a supervisor is not available” “there is no one that I can talk to in the …
Just like some others have said, I cancelled my subscription simply because I didn’t want it. A week later, they called me everyday for 4 days straight (sometimes twice a day) and I couldn’t answer because I was at work. Finally they called …
Got so tired of trying to contact customer service to cancel the subscription that I just called my bank and had them block all charges. They have a callback option that claims you won’t lose your place in line to talk to a representative, but don’t expect that to actually happen.
After 5 weeks of having to report undelivered papers and request redelivers, I gave up and canceled my account. It should not be the customer’s responsibility to demand a redeliver every week just because the delivery person is too lazy to …
I cancelled by subscription but was still charged the next month. Trying to get a refund has been a nightmare and when I finally got someone in customer service to tell me the refund was being processed it was for less than the full amount. …
Would not recommend receiving this service at all. I think I had my newspaper correctly delivered once. Every other time, I had to call to ask why it wasn’t being delivered. I called today and just asked to have my money refunded (since it …
Something has drastically changed with the delivery end of the newspaper. The carriers in the past several years have been very diligent and polite about putting the paper within a couple feet of the door. We made this request as it was a …
We have been a loyal subscriber for 35 years. Unfortunately, it is now time to cancel our subscription due to inconsistent delivery of our newspaper. Customer service reps always say they will report the problem to the district manager. I …
Can’t get a Sunday paper delivered to our home. 40+ year subscriber. We contact customer service and they always tell us they will get the problem fixed but it never happens. No one ever calls us back. Don’t offer delivery service if you can’t actually perform the task.
We’ve been faithful subscribers for over a decade. However, the paper has dwindled down to a few sheets on a daily basis with the Sunday not being much better. When I received my renewal notice and saw rates had more than doubled I …
My company has subscribed to the Oklahoman for at least 75 years. The last few years delivery has been spotty at best. The last couple of weeks we are lucky to get it delivered every other day. In the past if we didn’t get a paper they …
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. The quality of the paper has gone down dramatically in the past 5 years, but my mother lives with us and looks forward to reading it every day. Delivery service started going downhill noticeably …
While they had some issues getting started, the Oklahoman did eventually come through and now it is delivered regularly. Thanks for addressing the issue!
If I could give 0 stars I would. All I want is a back issue of the Sunday paper that came out yesterday. I paid $250 for a Obituary and all I want is the paper that it’s in, half a day on Sunday, driving for hours I couldn’t find ANY store …
I wish I could give them zero stars. Even Cox and AT&T have better customer service. …
