The Portland Clinic-Northeast Reviews ( 47 )

  1. The receptionist at the front desk are so rude and unprofessional. They are not even nice to you. You would feel not welcome here the first word you start to talk to them. Could have been nice if they are hiring more nicer people to work for them.

  2. A wonderful experience with a very caring provider & staff. I am looking forward to a long relationship with this provider & staff.
A very happy atmosphere in this place.

  3. This is a great office, I have been going there for a couple years now and have been so happy. I will say that the wait times for appointments can be pretty long, but that seems to be the case absolutely everywhere. Dr Heeney is the best …

  4. HOW ABOUT PROVIDING PARKING INFORMATION, SO DIFFICULT TO FIND. CALLING THE OPERATOR DOESN’T HELP BECAUSE SHE DOESN’T KNOW EITHER SINCE YOU GET CENTRAL OFFICE NOT THE ACTUAL OFFICE YOU ARE TRYING TO GET INFORMATION ABOUT

  5. Stay away if you want to avoid condescending and unhelpful billing department. Sometimes free annual physical checkups can cost as much as rent. I basically paid these people to go away.

  6. I’ve been going to the Portland Clinic for well over a decade, and it’s always been a shock how fast they secure me an appointment… literally within a day or two in most cases. I’ve literally NEVER had a single problem with the PC, and …

  7. I’ve been with this clinic for over 20 years, way before it grew so big and into a careless group of medical staff. It’s unfortunate! The people answering the nurse advice line are curt and in a rush to get you off the phone. They should …

  8. If you choose The Portland Clinic please avoid Dr.Elizabeth Ballenger. She’s the worst doctor I’ve ever had. I came in to her with a lot of problems and instead of addressing anything she gave me a ten minute lecture on the dangers of …

  9. Run for the hills! It was a weird experience from start to finish. Little follow up, misdirection, bad space (how many barn doors does an interior need?), but most of all misinformation and misdirection given to me. Small things like not …

  10. I went to Dr. Vides for the first time to establish care, specifically for prescriptions I have been on for 10 yrs. He wrote prescriptions for 30 days and told me I had to go to a psychiatrist in order to get my meds. I had previously gone …

  11. I went in for a routine check up. Then I get a large bill for something else. The person scheduling made a mistake. When I called the billing department the person on the phone was rude, then went on to read all of my personal things I …

  12. Long wait, mediocre desk staff, nice doctor. Arrived 20 minutes early. They never asked for ID. Was scolded for taking photos of the empty lobby. Was called in exactly at my appointment time. Waited 30 minutes in the exam room before a …

  13. I’ve been using a doctor, dermatologist, ophthalmologist and the travel clinic at Portland Clinic for a few years and have enjoyed their medical care. They’re very professional, well-informed, good patient rapport. They take appointments seriously and have always seen me right on time, rarely run late.

  14. Most of the negative reviews seem to be reflective of the systemic issues we have in the US healthcare system. This review is to simply review the service experience I had at the clinic. First and foremost, I’m very appreciative of the fact …

  15. I was trying to be hopeful of another place, but I really should have read the reviews here. I not only had a horrible experience with the first doctor I met, who treated me like I was yet another annoying patient coming in to be annoying …

  16. The staff and Doctors are friendly and knowledgeable. With that being said I think the Portland clinic pushed them to bill for every thing possible. I was a patient there for over 20 years. I had medication that I’d taken for years but if I …

  17. I have a high deductible insurance plan, so I wanted to schedule my once per year wellness benefit. The doctor told me (during the exam) that she wanted to wait for the wellness exam so she could get a better feel for what tests to order. …

  18. I have to say I had high hopes when we switched here and have kept an open mind for quite a while. Even during Covid it is apparent to me that this clinic on its best day is horribly run. Customer service is nonexistent and medical …

  19. Today was my first visit and I was so impressed. Doctor Brian Lindeman is the nicest guy and I highly recommend him to anyone who gets nervous with doctor appointments, he will have you laughing and feeling comfortable within minutes. My …

  20. Nice enough people, but they have messed up sending our prescriptions to the correct pharmacy on four occasions. When the error is brought to their attention they then put the onus on the patient to rectify it. That, in my book, is sub-par customer care.

  21. Super helpful! I was able to make an appointment in short notice. The staff was able to help me find my previous medical information (I had gaps in my knowledge since it had been a long time). My doctor and nurse were very helpful, gave me a lot of time, and answered my questions in a manner I could understand. Thank you!

  22. I have been going to this clinic for many years. I used to also take my children here before they grew up and moved away. Have always received wonderful, caring service here.

  23. Convenient Eastside location. Parking is a bit of a problem but very doable. Staff is happy and helpful. Easy to find you way around. The clinic accepts many different medical insurance plans. It rather easy to get an appointment.

  24. TCP runs an efficient, sterile, and impersonal business of providing “care.” That’s my general experience with most providers there over the past 6 or 7 years, so no surprise that TCP has a hard time retaining providers. Maybe all these …

  25. I appreciate the professionalism, knowledge, and care by all staff members. Nurse practitioner, Beth Passereli said “we’re here to keep you healthy”. That makes me feel good and that she cares.

  26. While the care received has been great, getting to that point is horrendous! Appointments get canceled often, even ones made a year in advance. To try and rebook an appointment you are offered one 3-6 months out, even if you’ve booked one …

  27. I have been a Portland Clinic patient for 20 years. They used to provide excellent service. In the last couple years the quality of their service has plummeted. I realize Covid had a serious impact on healthcare providers, but this was …
