TriCities Laboratory Reviews ( 97 )

  1. I don’t understand all these bad reviews, this is the only place I’ve gone to for years and it’s always fast and professional. I go in, get my blood done and then I’m out.

  2. Lady with dark hair short hispanic looking is highly unprofessional she needs to be removed from this place the way she talks about people when they are not around is not okay

  3. This place was terrible employee was very rude and was not helpful. Very dirty lab I complained to management lost a day of work because they refused to draw blood .

  4. I don’t understand why people have such negative reviews of this place, had my pregnancy glucose test done here and was nervous by all the bad reviews on here but everything went smooth and didn’t have a bad experience with neither front desk or the person who drew out my blood.

  5. Two of the front desk women are chatting and giggling the whole time and I was waiting to check in. One of the front desk woman had a REALLY really bad attitude and she was RUDE. Anyway I’m not going back there ever again.

  6. I have visited here multiple times and have encountered a very friendly staff, even when they are swamped with patients. They are finished with the draw before I even have a chance to think about fainting.

  7. After rushing across town to get to the laboratory, they closed early — before their posted hours. Add to that, they have repeatedly made billing errors (consistently in their favor). It’s annoying to continually make phone calls to get them to make corrections.

  8. Horrible-horrible-horrible. Better to just close your doors and go out of business, rather then treat patrons like this. The owners and managers should be ashamed and embarrassed.

  9. Unprofessional staff, talked negatively about supervisor and local hospital canceling contract. Highly recommend you go somewhere else, this place is beyond unprofessional.

  10. Julie at TLC Tri-Cities Laboraties went above and beyond to help answer all my questions and concerns regarding lab work. Swift Way St. TLC staff are quick, professional and painless when drawing lab work.

  11. Receptionist was rude. Screwed up blood test. Required me to come in again for another blood draw but wouldn’t guarantee the results would be available for my doctor’s appointment.

  12. How about a number/ticket system in the lobby so people know who is next. I showed up 15 minutes before they opened and was 10th. By the time they opened there was 20. Who know the order they showed up?!?

  13. The Guy that drew my blood had to do both arms apparently Because he didn’t know what he was doing-And bruised both of my arms severely do not go here very unprofessional he needs more training.

  14. Nearly cost our son a surgery due to their incompetence and terrible customer service. Lied and/or withheld information and tried to pass the buck. Avoid them if at all possible.

  15. If I could give them a 0 I could. It was 10:30am, I stopped by for ordered tests. The room was completely packed. Line going out the door. I looked at the list of people, asked how long it would be. She said she did not know. Come on, a …

  16. Friendly staff. Short wait time. Nurse left me under informed on what to do after my sample was taken. Then vanished. I had to go to reception to ask where to leave the samples. Clean place. A little hard to find which door was theirs on the building.

  17. Went to the lab off of Descutes this morning for routine draw. They were busy so I was waiting to sign in but the staff was so rude to me and the gentleman in front of me that I just left. Will be calling my doctor to have the order sent to another lab. Not the first time this has happened.

  18. Very rude receptionist, the rest of the staff isn’t that friendly either! No regard to privacy when checking in and there’s no attempt to keep your name or other information private.

  19. Although our situation was unique the team at TCL was extremely unhelpful, unprofessional and down right rude. In most cases lab work is routine or for follow-ups but for others lab work is a vital component for diagnosis and in our case, a …

  20. Waiting for over 30 minutes while a few others are waiting and all staff is either eating or doing inventory. Zero rooms full!! Terrible customer service!! For someone who gets blood drawn every month it would be nice if there were a decent lab in tri-cities!!!

  21. Slow service (need to separate blood draws from urine takes as to let urine samples move along), long waits (30+ minute wait just to give a urine sample), understaffed, often long lines, unclean facility, cold-staff (probably over …

  22. This place should be reported, extremely unprofessional and rude staff. Doctor was a joke and couldn’t find a vein on my poor baby and she tore up his arms trying and never got a drop of blood for the test. We had to travel 2+ hours round trip for nothing.

  23. The worst experience; the women of the reception was rude each time. When I I go to this place I get treated in a bad way. unfortunately is the only location where they receive specimens. It is sad that everyone that works as a secretary …

  24. Worst customer service, the ladies at the front desk were very rude, and just flat out lied to me. Made me wait 2 hours for nothing. Definitely regret bringing my business here, what a horrible experience.

  25. I usually have a good experience at the TCL near the Toyota Center, but this last time when I went to the one on Gage by Albertson’s not so much. They asked me if a student could draw my blood which I reluctantly say yes to. She dug around …

  26. Went to a Richland location a few weeks ago. The receptionist was friendly as usual, but the phlebotomist moved while drawing my blood (moving the needle while inside my arm). It hurt, but I figured it would go away. It didn’t. The first …

  27. Lady was mad about something and it really hurt when she took my blood. Plus I got a huge bruise from the stick.
Update:6/2021 I will not go here again. One lady was great. The other two gave …

  28. Make sure you DON’T show up anywhere near closing time! I made the mistake of going in for a very simple, one vial blood draw at 14 minutes before they closed and by the time I got to the room to have my blood drawn, the phlebotomist was …

  29. Rude, rude, rude!!!! The receptionist obviously hates her job. I come here weekly for blood draws and she always has rude and snarky comments to say. She literally was talking about me as I walked away!! …

  30. This is a great place to go if you want to sit in your car all day waiting for a chance to have blood drawn. I called all of the TCLs in Tri Cities today and NOT ONE answered their phone! Go anywhere else for your blood work. I’d rather have the homeless guy under the bridge draw my blood than deal with TCL again!

  31. Every time I have been there the technicians have been as unhelpful as possible. The first time I went I signed in and waited an hour before they got to me. They then told me they did not have the test order from my doctor. I called my …

  32. I don’t know if the blonde receptionist was having a bad day but boy she sure was rude when I asked her a question.
The two technicians were talking ill about my 3 week old son in Spanish! They …

  33. Front office staff extremely unprofessional. 2nd time having to go in and had the same poor experience checking in. My lab information talked about loudly for the entire waiting room to hear. I would expect there to be better Hipaa practices for a medical laboratory. Get it together.

  34. Seating is sparse for how many people they see and is not accommodating to pregnant women or children coming in for tests. A family with newborn twins came in and there was no where for the family to sit and babies were placed on the floor …

  35. Just a routine visit, but an outstanding experience. The staff were professional, efficient, and friendly. Though they had their normal crowd waiting for the doors to open, the wait was hardly noticeable…PERFECT!

  36. If you can go anywhere else, I would encourage you to do so. The lead receptionist treats everyone that walks in the door with disgust and rudeness. It was really sad to experience and watch. I truly hope someone can provide her with some coaching on people skills in the near future.

  37. Went for blood work, double checked on internet for hours, got there, no sign on door to say they were closed for New Year’s Eve. They have a right to be closed BUT, the least you could have done is put a sign on door. Only after I called …

  38. Usually don’t write bad reviews, but this place deserves one. Some serious re programming for customer service of the employees and a new structuring. My son had to go in there a month ago and they had him waiting for 2.5 hours before they …

  39. Witnessed a disagreement between the lead receptionist and another patient. Patient was irritated, the receptionist told her to leave, she was banned from coming back, and then went on to tell her boss that the lady assaulted her and other …

  40. This lab has great staff! I have terrible anxiety when it comes to getting my blood drawn, and at my last visit there was an issue with my Dr’s order (no fault of the lab) which would have sent me into a panic attack if not for how helpful …

  41. I absolutely never complain, but I have never been treated so poorly by anyone, ever. The receptionist at this location was rude, unprofessional, and according to all these same reviews, it needs to be addressed by upper management. …

  42. I’m not sure what the problems were that others have had . . . but I scheduled an appointment on-line, arrived early, checked-in on my phone via a link supplied by TCL and waited until I was prompted by a text message to go inside. A short …

  43. I use this location 100% of the time and get blood work almost every month. This location makes it easy to come in as a walk in and get in and get out within the hour. Usually quicker (within 20 minutes) if you don’t go at peak times. The …

  44. Checked in at 8:30 only to have to wait over an hour. Went in to check what was going on and how much longer it would be and the receptionist had a poor attitude. I was told they still didn’t have time for me without checking my placement …

  45. The service at the front desk is terrible. The fact that they don’t do any patient satisfaction surveys speaks volumes. Every time I come here I am treated like I’m the enemy and I’m not welcome. Rarely have I been treated so poorly …

  46. They have you check in at the kiosk and provide driver license and all insurance cards. The kiosk is designated to take pictures of these and storing info in their database. They then ask you to wait outside in your car and wait for a …

  47. Great experience! I was greeted within seconds. I was called to the reception desk within 10 minutes. My blood was drawn within 5 more minutes. The blood tech was the best. She was polite and got down to business. I barely felt the needle. Great work!
