  10. It was horrible! There was no communication between team members and I could not eat for 48 hours due to the speech therapist not coming to see me! The ER doctors were rude along with the nursing staff!!

  11. I had back surgery on 3/11/22. The Emergency Center was ok and that is why I gave 2 stars but after I wait for 6 hours and went to my room for overnight observation was “unbelievably horrible”. I had to wait 45 min to an hour every time I …

  14. Trident needs to hire ppl who actually want to be a nurse or physician. Alot of the nurses and doctors lack kindness, compassion and basic understanding about how to treat and talk to ppl. This experience with Trident Hospital has been an eye opener. I will not be returning here.

Thank you

  19. After being admitted, there were no beds available so I stayed in ER for the entire 18 hour visit. There were no portable toilets available so I had to walk down the hallway to the public restroom.
The staff was efficient and courteous and I thank them.

  36. I didn’t have to wait around for a long time for my PET/CT scan appointment. The radiologists were pleasant and didn’t try to rush me through the process. I have had many of these tests and this is clearly one of the best experiences with these tests and I have had them at the Mayo Clinic, Memorial Sloane Kettering, and Yale.

  37. Everyone was completely exceptional. Sara and Hailey were so polite and caring. They were very busy, but never complained and they made sure that I was taken care of. 91. They don’t deserve one star but I can’t rate any lower. This place is the biggest joke of medical “care” that exists. If you want to be treated like a piece of garbage and receive no medical help whatsoever, then this is the place for you.
    Good luck

  92. Check in was a breeze. No waiting to check in. I was early and they took me in early for my appointment. Technician was Great, very professional. Great visit-Well pleased.

  93. Nursing staff was great, although short staffed. I was put in a back area where I was the only one, without a way to contact anyone.
Wasn’t one of my better visits to the hospital.

  94. I was there for an ultrasound, the registration process was easy,
and the young lady that did my ultrasound was very nice. She made sure that I was comfortable before she started because the way I had to be positioned was very uncomfortable

  98. From the Nurses, the Techs, the food service, Cleaning crew and Doctors, I was treated like a king. If I left anyone out, then I apologize but I really felt like a VIP!! WHITE GLOVE TREATMENT!! OH, and a shout out to every one in the ER and admission!! Great service!!

  99. Overall good experience. Staff was exceptionally nice. Wait was a bit longer than expected but it was busy. I would say it deserves a 5 for facility and staff but because of parking and wait time I’ll give them 4.5.

  100. I have been going for physical therapy after my surgery and Sarah and Stephanie are great. They cared very much about my well-being! I am going to the arts building and not the hospital.

  117. Don’t go to Trident Medical Center in Charleston, SC if you want to keep your license. Unsafe ratios, cliquish, just the perfect definition why it is called Trideath by the locals. The worst system in America, HCA. Posted from an anonymous nurse

  118. Employees are professional and very helpful, and get 5 stars what gets really no stars is the mri machine which is outdated and. So loud my head was hurting all day after enduring this horrible noise.

  119. Everyone that I dealt with was very friendly, polite and professional. The procedure was done within minutes of the scheduled time. Overall, a very positive experience.

  120. Very dishonest billing. Verified they were an urgent care upon arrival but charged for ER services for an ankle x-ray. Tried to call and work this out and they said they would send me a new bill but did not. Would never use again.

  121. I arrived at the ER via personal transportation with multiple injuries from a bad accident on a nearby MTB trail. They took good care of me and got me triaged quickly, mitigating my pain quickly.

  122. Sat in a hallway the whole time, with many other patients. It’s sad that we have to have our business said out in the public. No privacy, feel so bad for others who were having private things wrong with them and it was talked to from the nurse in front of everyone.

  123. The worst ER visit give ever had!!! Was told I had a sprained ankle even tho I told them I had not done anything to sprain it. They came out to the waiting room and put a flimsy brace on it that created more problems actually made me trip several times

  124. Went there on sunday, dec 18 2022. I have exellent insurance and ended up sleeping on a gierney in fast track for 2 nights. Have broncitis and needed oxygen. Will not ever go there agaian. Had them send me home with meds

  125. From the valet person to the receptionist to the lab people everyone was courteous, professional and helpful. This includes the volunteers that make the wheel chair available. I was very leased with the entire evolution.
    DR. Art Schmitt ( PSYCHOLOGIST)

  126. I just completed the survey and gave you very good grades. I could not be any happier, especially after having my throat slit. Just kidding, it was very good experience. Ray Smith

  134. Well, they took care of my pain but as far as informing as to what was exactly wrong the communication was near -0-. There was no review with me as to the results of the CAT scan or the multiple exray’s. All I know is I was given no food or …

  137. Have been waiting 3 hours with my 83 year old grand mother to get blood drawn. Won’t provide a blanket even though she’s shaking from being so cold. Doctor says we may have to contact her primary doctor and come back. Will probably still get a $20k bill. What a joke of a hospital.

  138. the worst hospital, they sent my husband home to die. after surgery was done there he had complications with constipation 10 days without going to the bathroom they only told him to take mira lax. he was short of breath he had no strength …

  139. It was the worst. 10-12 nurses and orderlies that were rude to every patient.
Went in on doctors order because my sugar was 585. Simple fix: fluids with insulin. Sat there for almost 8 hours waiting on 30 minute bloodwork.
I will try to never, ever go to your hospital.

  140. Brought in emergency with many people waiting was taken in within 3 minutes. Seen a doctor within two minutes. Had x-ray of hip and catscan of skull within 20 minutes and return of doctor with results within 30 minutes was a miracle. I was amazed and thankful for the swift and learned ability.

  141. I went for pre-op lab work and EKG and waited much too long to receive these services. The check-in personnel was terribly overworked, trying to check people in, answer the phones, and window for people trying to find the department they needed to go to as there was no customer service in the lobby. However, the staff were friendly.

  147. Everyone involved was helpful and courteous. The procedure went smoothly and all questions I asked were answered in full. Thank you for making this medical appointment a positive experience.

  148. My doctor’s order was for an ultrasound. They did a mammogram, but refused to do the ultrasound, so my doctor had to then send me elsewhere. I now have to wait another 3 weeks for my ultrasound.

  162. Staying overnight in the ER was terrible as no beds available. The PA hospitalists were very demeaning. They apparently don’t allow you to question them; having a bad day shouldn’t be taken out on a patient. The spreading of false …

  163. The hospital staff was very nice and took the appropriate tests. It was a very busy day there bc of the flu, I guess. They said double the normal stream. Because of that, it was a long visit. Over 6 hours and that was exhausting. A shout out to a nurse who was able to find a vein for the IV for the CAT scan. Had blown 5 previously.

  170. I was greeted nicely upon arrival and throughout the visit by each person I encountered. Everything ran smoothly and timely. It did not feel rushed. My total visit from check in to checkout was about 20 minutes.

  179. I really appreciate the care that was recently given to my dad. He was admitted to the ER/ED recently. I can’t say it was a perfect experience but they were PACKED. It was an extremely busy night but the staff was amazing and he got the care he needed. Even as stressed as they were they all had smiles on their faces.

  194. I didn’t appreciate having to wait more than 24 hrs to be bathed and changed out of the gown from my surgery. I did not have hot water in the room for my daughter to bathe me: no toothbrush no soap. I was there 4 day and only got one bath. I’m so grateful that I had my daughter to advocate for me.
