There’s some kind people here but also some that are very rude and inconsiderate. They don’t always listen to what’s in the best interest of the patient. I wouldn’t recommend this hospital for elderly people.
I wouldn’t even give this place one star if it wasn’t for the great nurse I had. The doctor on the second floor sucked. Staffing was great. Care was prompt and compassionate. No complaints here. This little hospital’s ER is better than most larger hospitals, where you are treated as a # instead of a person, and have to generally wait much longer to see the provider. This place is awful, especially if your a military vet. My husband was very sick and they took him out of a room and left him in hallway for 3 days. No water, no food, no meds and more. I feel they contributed to his death 3 weeks later. I wouldn’t send anyone I care about to this terrible place.
I visited the ED in the middle of the night for an acute illness. The ED was packed but the staff was awesome! From the ones at the front desk to Dr Fote, Jay and Summer and the CT tech every one was professional and pleasant. As busy as they were, you would never know it from the interactions I had with them.
Wish I could rate this a -1. Poor communication between doctor and patients, rude nurses, and entry into the ER is basically a free for all. Was surprised that I was able to just walk in and visit a patient with no one asking me my name or who i was there to see or needing any type of screening.
