Beware of preditory practices by this bank. They may offer a loan and request a hard credit check, but they are really just phishing for information. No loan will be offered, and your credit will be scarred by this action by USB.
I do not recommend doing business with this bank. We have had nothing but hassle when trying to refinance our mortgage. It has taken over 2 1/2 months to process the paperwork and the night before closing the title company told us we would need to bring $5,000 to the closing, $4,000 more than the loan officer had indicated.
Was told by the loan officer Union Savings does not sell mortgages, they hold them for the life of the loan. My mortgage was sold to a different bank less than 2 months after I closed on the house. Shows how much my business was appreciated.
