This college is extremely overpriced for currently offering zero services but still demanding 30,000 a year from in state students even more from out of state.
Do repeat what you’ve read about Seattle’s ‘freeze culture’ – and please do not come here, you wouldn’t like it – you will prefer some other state’s school or a different country even better. I just know it.
idk why this point is labeled as the university- it’s just a staircase. If you want to meet up with someone, do it at Red Square. It’s a great college, just an fyi about the map cuz I was confused.
I’ve never realized how many resources I have as a uw student until I actually face problems every time. UW always has someone can help me out. Great first year as a UW Husky.
Once worked for their temp service, when I informed them of a blatant age discrimination occurrence, they never placed me in any more temp jobs. I wonder why? Also, their dental school is the worst.

Love UW and the campus is unmatched by any other I’ve seen in beauty. Maybe Stanford. But then again being in the same league as Stanford is quite an accomplishment
I got my Masters degree online from UW; but I happen to live in Seattle (nearby UW). Now that I am planning a wedding, I am seeing that they have competitive prices for ceremony outdoor venues 🙂 awesome!
I went to college at UW, and I am so proud of it! I now live in southern-california (in USC territory), but there are a few of us huskies down here, too. I got my masters in psychology down here at Chapman University… but I’m still a husky 🙂

Even if you’re not a student, walk around the campus to see the gorgeous architecture. If you sneak into the graduate study room in the main library you can pretend you’re at Hogwarts.
Breath taking campus with lots of history, great athletic programs and great faculty and still great academics. I would highly recommend it to an elite student coming out of high school.

Amazingly diverse college at the top of its educational and research fields, of which it offers a large selection. Beautiful campus with a rich history.

The campus is very dirty, mainly due to the homeless problem Seattle won’t take care of. People are allowed to place their tents almost anywhere making it extremely uncomfortable to leave your dorm.

I love the UW! Growing up in the area, and now attending here, I have such admiration and school spirit for this University. They are achieving so much, that the public doesn’t even necessarily hear about. A must recommend if you have the opportunity
The graduation rate of incoming freshmen is still dismal, despite efforts to improve it. The graduation rate is around 50% now. The main campus is 35000 students and including workers (researchers) has 50000 people there, most concentrated in a square mile of main campus area.
I’m an International student from Asia. It’s a good school in terms of academics. But I feel this school is too liberal, and hostile to student who are conservative or have a religion. To a certain extent limitation of freedom will hinder academic development, hope they will understand that.
Graduated here 2010. I must say that even in the last few years some of the programs have come a long way. I went to Foster Business and during a recent visit, I can clearly see the influence the updated facility and faculty has had. …

Beautiful College Campus to check out during the spring. It went through alot of renovations over the years and now has a link subway right in front of the husky stadium! If you go to the UW quad during the cherry blossom time frame, expect ALOT of visitors who are there for the cherry blossoms like you.
This is a UW-Medicine off site clinic. I was there to see a podiatrist and it was an excellent experience. This was a speciality clinic, but I am a patient of UW Medicine and I highly recommend it!
Great atmosphere! Take your family to the Quad in the spring when the cherries bloom, or check out the visitor center for a lot of ideas. It seems that there is always some event going on in or around Red Square. It’s a great place to just walk around.
I go here for school, so I’m biased (and that’s a separate type of review). As a place to visit, there are many charming buildings, from the stained-glass halls of Suzzallo to the Burke Museum. Visit in the spring to see the cherry …
This ride made me actually look into the Washington district university out of look into the campus more subtle than every before the site was amazingly beautiful.
FIRST! Receptionist for the Neuro main clinic line. A lady Named Autumn, took my phone call and listened to what I had to say and even though I was being very calm about my urgency to talk to my team she knew It was emergency and made a …
Spent some of my formative years here. Definitely a sink or swim environment which prepared me for the real world. Constant competition with your peers had a positive effect on me as a person. Powerful research university in a large city …
This is an awesome school and it’s conveniently located on the SETAC light rail line. Tuition is costly and the admission process is cumbersome, but this is a one of the best schools in North America. Great school for graduate studies!
Surrounded by a great amount of diversity and perspectives. I was fortunate to graduate from such an impressive and enriching institution. Beautiful campus. Great professors. Wonderful facilities.
Don’t take a certificate program online. They put the course up and never review it to make sure the page numbers and sessions are correct. Worst college I’ve attended. DEBRA HILDEBRAND is an awful instructor and I can’t see how she would …
A pretty nice campus close to the Pacific Ocean. I enjoyed walking through it on a sunny day. I’ve been at more impressive universities but this one is worth checking out if you have the time.
Best investment of my life. I was terrified as a 18 year old high school kid coming here. I blossomed and grew into what I am today and couldn’t have done it without U of W. From my spouse who I met there to the job that I have now that I give full credit my education there. Thank you!
Awesome campus, great faculty and many activities happening around. Spectacular location. It’s a great tourist spot too since there are so many beautiful places inside the campus.
My school is the best. Beautiful campus with lots of awesome facilities, and great staff and people as well. I feel like I’m actually learning valuable things for the future in my school.
I visited this university for the first time and I really love it. Didn’t know how big and beautiful this place is. The library was huge. I ordered a Starbucks in the library and charged my phone in the library. The students are working …
No wonder people keep saying UW is one the most beautiful university in USA. We visited during early October. The walk up and down the mountain, in and out the trees, around the elegant architecture is such fulfilling journey.
I visited the grounds for the recent cherry blossom bloom. I was impressed with the architecture around the campus – old mixed with modern buildings. I would love to attend if I had the money to!
Worth a stop. Specifically, go check out the HUB, Rainier Vista (+Drumheller Fountain), the Quad (especially if it’s cherry blossom season) and Denny Hall, Union Bay Natural Area, the stadium, the new light rail station, the atrium in the …
It is a pleasant campus to walk around and look at. However, the buildings are more spaced out than I feel they should be, and everything on the inside of the buildings feels terribly dated for as big-named as this school is made out to be.
LOVELY campus. such a great environment to be in with lush greens in the summer and cherry blossoms in spring. faculty is great.
only downside would be class size and student resource availability. need more faculty ! 🙂
Beautiful campus, can easily take half an hour to an hour to tour the whole site. Would recommend going on a clear day to see the fountain view of Mt. Rainer or in the spring to see the cherry blossoms.
I attended this university decades ago. The hard academic training still resides in my soul and who I am. The campus was so beautiful I still can see the breathtaking beauty of the architecture in each season when I close my eyes. I …
I go to school here. I feel like the professors really push you to find what motivates you. So far I have felt all my professors to be very competent with high standards and a good work ethic. Therefore they expect the same from you. …
As an alumnus of the University of Washington, I can easily say this was the best university experience for me. I loved everything from student housing to all my professor in the MBA program. Wish I still live in Seattle, but work and additional collegiate studies took me away.
I came upon the campus from the west and was underwhelmed as the building seemed to have been built in the 60s and 70s and were a bit dated. However soon I made it to the main part of the campus which had classic building that reminded me …
This is such a cool college! With impressive structures, beautiful walkways, super cool people, the University of Washington is straight up cool! I hope one day to attend and know, just by visiting, how much I would enjoy it!
Had chance to visit during the Convocation in June 16. Beautiful Campus with stunning view of Mount Rainier. Quality of Education imparted prepares students as future leaders in their respective professions and the culture makes them good human beings.
Easily one of the best places I’ve ever worked in my 7+ year professional career. The campus is, of course, architecturally and ecologically one of the prettiest in the nation — and visits to the library were always super productive.
I was only here on a tour so I didn’t see all of the university. However, I can say that U Dub has a really beautiful campus, which is huge (one of the biggest I’ve seen). Most buildings were really modern and the faculty seemed really …
The first thing I thought about when choosing a college was its marching band. In high school, I was a member of a core-style marching band. Every year we would spend weeks before school started at band camp to pour our efforts into a …
The campus is large and there’s plenty of spaces to park if you’re driving. Also rates are acceptable. There are both new and historical buildings and you can actually go inside some of the buildings and have a tour, unlike some other …
Do not come here. 75% of the schools majors are competitive, and it made my whole college experience a nightmare. I wouldn’t go here even if someone paid me to
Fantastic campus, absolutely beautiful in many ways… The architecture, gardens, dorms, and more. The COVID move in was very well organized. They obviously had really thought it through. Stations setup to guide you through everywhere. They have done a great job planning and adapting to the horrible events of this year.
Campus is very clean and wide. Every architecture resembles history of the place. I had the most amazing time of my life, so for every student here. It is worth a visit even for visitors to see a view of fountain with Mountain in the back. When you walk on the campus, I bet you’ll be truly glad to be a husky.
The UW is one of the world’s preeminent public universities. Our impact on individuals, our region and the world is profound — whether we are launching young people into a boundless future or confronting the grand challenges of our time …
For a moment I fell in love with the beautiful architecture and wanted to see it in every light possible. It enchanted me, I’m sure those that are lucky enough to get an education here enjoy how special it is. I always have when visiting.
Excellent school. This school should be considered an Ivy League school. My College professors are the best. I’m doing courses online. A writing certificate and I really appreciate the support of the school
Founded in 1861, Washington was first established in downtown Seattleapproximately a decade after the city’s founding to aid its economic development. Today, the university’s 703-acre main Seattle campus is situated in the University …
First, and probably least important, this is a beautiful campus. More importantly, the university offers high quality education while promoting diversity. As a PhD student I find the mentors to be excellent, while coursework is challenging and growth promoting.
Beautiful layouts, the trees and flowers. Historical and contemporary architecture. Great atmosphere for walking and must be a great place to study too.
Beautiful campus…rain or shine!
The newer buildings are stunning! Amazing, modern architecture with elements like glass, metal, stone, and wood. Happy UW is so close and kids can appreciate …
Love this place. April is the time to go for cherry blossoms but it will be crowded. Pro tip, park in kane hall after 12 on the weekend and it’s free. It’s a great way if you need to go to the campus and get lunch on the ave.
University is a place where people go and forder their education
I’m very sure that this University will help many young youths students to build their lives in a way that will help them 👍 …
Well I’m living in the University District of the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. The house I’m in is literally the only home left on the block. We are boxed in by condos and apartments, oh and the freeway off ramp for 45th …
Great place for. College graduation. Concessions have a plethora of food options. They are clean and modern. The bathrooms are clean and not frightening to use.
University of Washington is reputable for its classical campus and outstanding performance in scientific research. It’s quite a worth visiting spot in Seattle.
Amazing campus. Too bad that we visited a little late at the first week of April, and by then the cherry blossom was fading away… that’s the only retreat of this visit. The campus is very calm and friendly. It really lives up to be one of …
If you want to see the Cherry blossom. This is the place. It’s so fairytale types. You can get pictures there too. Pet friendly place too.
Parking for visitors of Cherry Blossom should be on E1. I visited on a weekend. Parking was pretty decent.
Nice modern building inside, partially air conditioned, but some areas are dark when you walk in or down a hall way or into a bathroom BUT great views from upper floors of Husky Stadium, 520 bridge, Puget Sound n Mount Rainer in the distance
During this period spending time at UW was cool & nice! Classes not happening which made my business there very pleasant and casual! Both visits Graduates were noticed. Congratulations to all Graduates 2020🎓 …
Nice place to visit (if you’re not a student, of course) when in Seattle. UW facilities are amongst the most beautiful universities I have ever been. They have a few concerts, museums and expositions diary. It’s always a good ideia to reach …
What an amazing experience to enjoy the beauty of nature at the Cherry and Magnolia Blossoms at the University of Washington, Seattle this Saturday. Perfect weather- beautiful sun, blue skies and brisk spring chill in the air. …
A very beautiful campus that provides wonderful education experience. A proud husky will recommend you to visit all year round, especially when the iconic campus cherry blooms.
Uw campus is one of the beautiful campus in USA. It always fascinates me that they have structured it in the way that you can have view of the mount Rainier from the red square. Suzzalo library is the main attraction of red square. One …
Love this campus … parking is relatively affordable compared to the city of Seattle. And the campus continues to work on making buildings more accessible for people using wheelchairs.
Absolutely no idea how I wandered into a school that I don’t even go to, but this place was beautiful. I’m really jealous of all the people that get to attend this school. It feels like Hogwarts.
The UW Campus is beautiful. One of the most beautiful I have ever seen. But it’s the mission, the diversity and purpose of the University that is most attractive.
University of Washington is the oldest university in the west coast. It is famous for Computer science department, which is sponsored by Microsoft and Amazon a lot. The entire campus has a plenty of buildings built by Bill Gates and Mary …
I never went to school here, but I worked for the University Hospital that this school is affiliated. This an awesome location and a place worth to visit if you are in the Seattle Area. Great architecture of their school buildings. So mesmerizing and a cool place to do a little bit of walking.
What a colossal disappointment. The off campus area is a disgrace, filthy, full of homeless, graffiti, abandoned stores, trash & ugly. The Burke museum is closed mondays. The architecture of the buildings is cold and depressing. The streets are full of traffic. Major two thumbs down.
Lovely campus noted for its cherry blossoms blooming this time of year. There are many architecturally interesting buildings. Fantastic gardens and plantings with lots of walking paths. And you can see Mt. Rainier if the mountain is out. It always soothes me to find UW’s oasis of calm in the middle of Seattle.
Amazing place!
Atmosphere looks like movie about Harry Potter or something. A lot of blossoms, old buildings, and perfect views. You can have a good time with friends or family (with dog) here. Recommend.
The new fall season is approaching and the campus, beautiful any time, will become a riot of color and texture. Well worth a visit. Be sure to visit the outdoor theater/performance space on the edge of Rainier Vista.
The buildings inside UW are so classic and amazing! I like UW so much. UW is so big and there is a big fountain in the middle of the school. I went there to see their library, but it wasn’t opened.😫 Maybe it was because that I went there on Saturday in summer quarter. …
The botanical gardens and natural area (UBNA) is a great place to walk in the early morning for sunrise and evening at sunset. So many varieties of birds!
UW is a hugely diverse school, highly tolerant of and extremely open to differences. The best aspect to the University of Washington is the opportunities and wide variety of academic studies it offers. … Students at UW have big dreams and hopes and are smart individuals that will one day be incredibly successful.
I love University of Washington Huskies. The campus is so beautiful. I love Seattle Washington. That’s my city!! A lot of people don’t know about Seattle other than hearing that it rains so much. It’s very green very beautiful. The …

Amazing campus. The buildings are like ancient castles in the middle era of Europe. The natural environment is also awesome, you can see squirrels and rabbits everywhere. And the most amazing view should be Mt.Ranier vista. Love it.
I have lived in Seattle area for 45 years. And never had the opportunity to visit the University of Washington Quad area, during “Cherry Blossom”Time 🌺. From Mid March till Mid April. Had to go to the area today, for a medical appointment. …

It’s my first time visiting Udub. The campus is pretty, and the paths are well organized. The location is nice. You can take subway here and walk for a couple mins.
I studied in UW when I was a university student for summer exchange programs.
UW is huge, so it takes some time to walk around.
Some facilities were newly built and my dormitory was gone… Even though, I enjoyed walking in the campus and introducing memorable places to my mother.
I visited campus for a Phi Beta Sigma conference. A coyote ran up on me 😂. I love the architecture and forestry throughout campus. And the view of Mount Rainer above the pond is spectacular. …
Wow! Such a pretty campus. I’m only commenting on the appearance of the location and not the education or university itself. Someone keeps stealing the tobacco plant, so stop it! I thought it was nice that a sign was put up for it.
I love their campus. It’s confusing at first like any other campus but I found where I needed to go easily. You need to pay for parking 🙁 or you will get a ticket. Burke Museum is awesome! We were invited to the House of Intellectual so …

Beautiful campus
Pretty good for an online university. Hard to tell if some profs are machines or sentient beings, but at the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter.
Beautiful Campus with Lovely Views of Mount Rainier❣
After spending my 4 year college life here, I would like to say this is the best and most beautiful school I attended.
It looks like a well college. Especially if you want to go away from home and explore another part of the world . The school looks beautiful .
This college is absolutely awsome! The building itself is nice and the education is great! 5/5 and i totally recomend it!!
This college is extremely overpriced for currently offering zero services but still demanding 30,000 a year from in state students even more from out of state.
A beautiful campus to visit. I hit up a couple of the museums when I was in town for a convention, and I was really impressed when I walked around.
5 square miles of beautiful campus and scenery. A little construction bur very well managed
Love the school, love the campus! It’s not CAL Berkeley that’s the only reason it’s not 5 stars.
The cherry blossoms were beautiful!

Beautiful campus and excellent Masters programs. Makes me regret not accepting their offer.
Nice old campus. Fountain and roses around it. New buildings are made by great engineers. Clean.
I spent 3 years at the UW, and it was a fantastic institution. There are all sorts of wonderful programs for all study paths.
Let’s go Huskies!

This ride made me actually look into the Washington district university out of look into the campus more subtle than every before the site was amazingly beautiful.

Nice open place.
Spent some of my formative years here. Definitely a sink or swim environment which prepared me for the real world. Constant competition with your peers had a positive effect on me as a person. Powerful research university in a large city …
I’m an instructor building more housing near by, great area
This is an awesome school and it’s conveniently located on the SETAC light rail line. Tuition is costly and the admission process is cumbersome, but this is a one of the best schools in North America. Great school for graduate studies!
Such a beautiful campus nice to take a amll walk~
Thank you!
A university not unlike most other institutions of higher learning. Enjoy — the neighborhood around the Uni is my favorite part of the experience.
Awesome campus, great faculty and many activities happening around. Spectacular location. It’s a great tourist spot too since there are so many beautiful places inside the campus.
Possibly the best kept University/college secret in the US.
Please continue giving it rankings below the top 10 so that people don’t know …
My school is the best. Beautiful campus with lots of awesome facilities, and great staff and people as well. I feel like I’m actually learning valuable things for the future in my school.

Beautiful campus!
Specifically, go check out the HUB, Rainier Vista (+Drumheller Fountain), the Quad (especially if it’s cherry blossom season) and Denny Hall, Union Bay Natural Area, the stadium, the new light rail station, the atrium in the …
Absolutely beautiful campus to see in the fall. The trees and plants where so vibrant and the view of Mt. Rainer was spectacular!
Proud of being part of it in the past several years!! Go huskies!!
It’s a great University, but even for just a walk, campus is beautiful. Stunning architecture (with a few 1960’s exceptions 😂) and lush gardens. …
It is a pleasant campus to walk around and look at. However, the buildings are more spaced out than I feel they should be, and everything on the inside of the buildings feels terribly dated for as big-named as this school is made out to be.
Love it! Cherry blossoms are beautiful during the spring!

As an alumnus of the University of Washington, I can easily say this was the best university experience for me. I loved everything from student housing to all my professor in the MBA program. Wish I still live in Seattle, but work and additional collegiate studies took me away.

Cherry blossom in end of March. It’s gorgeous!

I love this campus because it’s always so beautiful. Proud to be a husky.
Did a study abroad here, loved this school💜💛 …
Cherry blossoms are in bloom now! The library is not open right now and there are no public restrooms. Definitely worth a visit for these trees!
Beautiful campus
Cherry Blossoms are spectacular
Very beautiful campus. Great place to see the cherry blossoms in the springtime

Amazing campus, great courses and people. This is one of the best places to get educated.

First UW men’s basketball game in 3 years. It was great to be back at Hec Ed.
Parking is now $18 as of November 2021, I believe still free on Sundays.
Love to visit here. Great place to walk around.
Do not come here. 75% of the schools majors are competitive, and it made my whole college experience a nightmare. I wouldn’t go here even if someone paid me to
Top notch research institution with excellent sports teams!
Beautiful cherry blossoms in March. Can get crowded. Nice campus. Multicultural.
What a beautiful campus!! Makes you feel as if you are in Harry Potter movie sets. I’m sure they have excellent education system as well.
Be early for the cherry blossoms, or if you want to squeeze with other people.
The most amazing place to visit in Washington!
Extremely pleasant spot. Always meet with courteous assistants, nurses, doctors.
Clean, safety conscious surroundings. …
This college’s administration is a mess. Everything is NOT coordinated and each department kicks your question to another. …

Big campus with nice views to Mt. Rainier in red square. Plants and architecture are also a highlight.

First, and probably least important, this is a beautiful campus. More importantly, the university offers high quality education while promoting diversity. As a PhD student I find the mentors to be excellent, while coursework is challenging and growth promoting.

I am staying in Seattle as a visitor. UW campus is very beautiful. I use to go there to see the nature.
Amazing campus. Too bad that we visited a little late at the first week of April, and by then the cherry blossom was fading away… that’s the only retreat of this visit. The campus is very calm and friendly. It really lives up to be one of …

The top of the University in the world. There are so many classic buildings and stories. Go for a walk and take a picture of the campus, so nice.
Nice modern building inside, partially air conditioned, but some areas are dark when you walk in or down a hall way or into a bathroom BUT great views from upper floors of Husky Stadium, 520 bridge, Puget Sound n Mount Rainer in the distance

Gorgeous university. Cherry blossoms is the best season to go here. Regularly, great place for picnics and studying.
