Great place
Horrible. Ready to call ad
ult protective services.
Bad food. Poor care. Bad housekeeping. Poor follow through.
I am being sued by Oaklawn because my father died before I could pay his bill.
They are charging sick, old, poor people a dollar a day for a phone so they can call there love ones.
Great place for rehab and to work. Love Valhalla Post Acute
Excellent inpatient care by a caring staff of professionals.
Excellent Facility all the staff were very professional and caring.. The facility is extremely clean and well maintained…
I went there after my knee surgery. Rehab was top notch. The staff was superb and more than competent. The food was heavenly.
Horrible. Management is ridiculous! Don’t have enough help. This place has gone continuly downhill for years. And keeps going down hill. Jefferson Place a much better rehab and long care facility. The management doesn’t hire enough help.
Very hard to get in touch with staff to ask questions. No voicemail options.Personal items that had been ordered were not returned with belongings when dismissed from the facility. Food was not good. Some aides were rude to patient. The facility is woefully understaffed.
The facility have been so nice and I not met anybody who have not treated me well. The physical therapy have been over the top. Everyone have been really nice.
In the many times I’ve volunteered here I’ve noticed, to say the least, everyone that works at Valhalla cares about the job they do and carries the upmost respect for the residents. Doesn’t get any better!
Facility offers private resident rooms;
Daily activities, a spacious facility in a safe location with beautiful views, friendly staff
Trash facility, rude nurses, horrible attitude from everyone all the way around
I would not recommend this facility. My mother was there for one week. We have talked to administration several times about the health care practices. Twice her meds were wrong. My Mom has done her own meds for years and is AWARE of what …
My wife has been there twice in the last two years after knee surgery.
We were delighted with both the facility and the staff.
I recommend Oaklawn Health & Rehab Center without reservation.
My grandfather has been here for a while. Everyone there that cares for him gives him all the help he needs and everything! All of the employees there are fantastic and gives it their all. I’ve been to many health and rehab places in various capacities and this is by far the best I have been to.
My uncle has been at this facility since August. Hes had covid twice that I’m aware of (contacted after he was released out of the covid unit) he’s had numerous falls (was contacted 1 time) very poor communication, Jeff with physical …
I love the fact that all the rooms are private rooms, and theirs always supplies for the patients. Nice and clean facility that also pays well. Furthermore, it’s in a nice and safe location.
My husband was there and he wasn’t treated well it was requested rails for his bed was not taken care of. Staff was not caring .he was legally blind they informed family that someone would help with his food not true. I was there for rehab …
Worst place to put your family member. The administrator is heartless and money hungry. She only cares about under staffing so she gets a bigger bonus. The nurse director hides in her office all day and is a sneaky person to try to find. …
My husband was at Valhalla and the experience was a good one. The best part of Valhalla is their Social Worker Tanita – she went over and above to help me and my husband on different occasions, even after my husband left she was still in …
Just want to say, I have always heard horror stories about these types of facilities. My aunt stayed at this facility about a year ago, and it certainly did not support these stories. It was a fabulous experience for my aunt, so no one …
From BJ Shipp: I was in Oaklawn 7 weeks for rehab and therapy due to foot surgeries. The Therapy department is 5 stars all the way! It is the only reason I would recommend Oaklawn. Nursing and patient care was severely lacking. A great …
My wife has stayed there twice after knee surgery. The facility is wonderful and clean, and the staff is kind and competent. The physical therapists are top-notch. We would definitely use them again.
I have had many clients over the past year (2017) who have gone to rehab at Oaklawn so I have a unique opportunity to provide a review that is based on many various families experiences. This gives this review a benefit to readers that …
Being a nurse has been my passion ever since I can remember. I couldn’t wait to grow up and fulfill my dreams. Little did I really know graduating was just the beginning of my happiness. It wasn’t until I began my career here, that I found …
Facility is nice. Therapists seem competent. The aides and folks there to assist the patients while mostly nice do not pay attention and are not as attentive as they should be. Result is my father fell and broke his hip during the first …
I have been at this facility since 12-2-18 and I am a long term care resident. I love it here! I love Julie and Tanita, they are my social workers. The maintenance department is top notch. I love my nursing staff including Jacob, Brandon, …

We are so happy that we moved my mom into Valhalla. The nurses are skilled and …
My mom has received excellent nursing care…great PT and OT at this facility
My husband received excellent care in the last weeks of his life. The nursing staff is very caring as is the administration staff.
No place is without areas of possible improvement.
ValHalla is like most places – not enough people applying.
HOWEVERR, from the greeters – Natalie and Trina – to the RNs (our most frequent …
