This company is fraudulent loves to price gouge. The bills here are outrageous don’t dare be late they will cut you off the day after your due date then charge you $150 to reconnect it and a huge deposit even if you already have a huge deposit… customer service is rude..
Absolutely horrible customer service. A power company that should have gone out of business a long time ago. There is no other power options where I live so they will continue to hold a monopoly.

Ummmm…My power went out and I can’t reach anyone who works for this company. It’s pretty ludicrous when there’s an issue with the power and you can’t even get through to report it or get assistance.

We have many outages and I can cope with that. However, if its after hours or on weekends, there is no reliable way to contact them. Apparently their phone system is archaic. Internet becomes the only way to report. Not everyone has that in this rural area.
Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. They scam you because there’s no other electric company options for this rural area. Shut your power off with no warning no matter what the temperatures are & terrible customer service.
I received great customer service. They answered phones promptly, were polite and helpful, and answered all my questions.
I only missed one payment and they want to cut off my power. That is so worng. My last electric Company did not send a cut off notice till three missed payments.

I have had VVEC for the past 3 years. My bills have been absolutely ridiculous. I just got a bill a few days ago that was priced higher than the month before, yet I had used a significant amount less of KWH than the previous month. They’re crooked. If there was another company to switch to, I’d do it in a heartbeat.

We had a tree blow over and take out our pole and transformer along with damage to the main switch and wiring to the house. The VVEC team was on site within 30 minutes and had power restored in less than 2 hours. It was impressive to watch. Great service and quick response.
