vineyard propane has been my provider for 30 five star years. However, after being a 5 star provider for 25 years, their customer service, with respect to billing gets a minus 10 star rating and i am switching to Star Propane located next to Amerigas

Disaster. 90 minute wait times to speak to someone and that’s when calling as soon as they open. This wait has also occurred when calling at other times of the day. Their business is not impacted at all by COVID. There are no excuses. …
Sad because Amerigas handles everything thru call center. I callled last week for delivery and unbeknowst to us, because we were on auto fill, the computer formula for refills was inaccurate for our changing needs. So we called again and finally got this corrected.
This company has been a complete disaster. They scheduled a delivery for more than two weeks ago but did not follow through. Now we have no heat. We spent hours on hold on the emergency line last night; eventually we reached a human, but …
I have used these folks for years and have always found them prompt, friendly and efficient. They were a real support during COVID, with scheduled deliveries right on time. Great drivers, friendly and helpful office staff.
This is the most arrogant company I have EVER had to deal with. They send invoice with no explanation as to why/what and then refuse to reply when asked to do so. Thank God there is a court system on MV where I will get my revenge.
Amerigas is TERRIBLE, there were no O Stars option, they have essentially a monopolistic hold on Martha’s Vineyard; but I will be seeking a new provider.
