I had surgery at Wallowa Memorial Hospital and had a great experience. Dr. Rose was wonderful and the nurses were kind, caring and informative. I would recommend this hospital to anyone and feel fortunate to have this hospital to take care of my family
My son was born there I too love that place, but my experience was the most horrifying thing ive ever gone thru. I me a tiny 51 year old woman with serious lung disease. The nurse who had transferred from Portland had a very sweet voice, …
Excellent care and accessibility, and more resources than hospitals in towns that are much larger. If I need blood drawn I can be in and out in 15 minutes. Nothing but courtesy and good humor.
I’ve been to this hospital over two dozen times. It is not the worst hospital ever. I’m sure that it’s just a western medical approach but they are extremely condescending, in general. Doctors and nurses are quite snobby and have almost no …
I unexpectedly had to go here last night, I have never been here since I am from portland and just visiting. this was the best hospital experience I have ever had, and I have been to many places. the nurses and doctors were absolutely …
My family is from out of town and has visited this hospital, and I’ve got to say, it’s one of the prettiest hospitals I’ve ever seen! The pond outside was so peaceful, we wanted to just hang out there! …
Horrible horrible place to go. Their motto ‘we treat you like family’ is a joke. The nurses are mean to your loved ones and have little compassion. The food they serve at the cafeteria is a joke. I wouldn’t feed my dog that food. Don’t fall for the mask they put on to make it seem like a good place. It’s not.
I am so unhappy with the treatment I received from the majority of my nurses. They won’t give you your medicine early but they make you wait after your time. They have no care for what there patients are going through. And then they think …
Excellent care in the emergency department by Dr. Ziegler, nurse Becky and EMT Valerie (as well as Lisa in radiology). They were so caring, gentle, and compassionate during my visit for a fractured ankle. For a smaller community hospital, …
I took a family member to the emergency room on a Saturday in June. There was no waiting. There were no other cars in the parking lot. We had a room in less than five minutes. In another five, the doctor entered the room fully briefed on …

If you’re looking for a first aid station it’s not to bad but if it’s something major I recommend finding a bigger hospital.
