My experience at Wesley was the best I have ever had in 71 years and multiple surgery’s. Meds were on time every time and each service was done with professionalism. I can’t say enough.
Charles
This bad experience is regarding the loss of our belonging while staying at Wesley hospital in Wichita. In the 1st week of August 2021, our 93 years old mom admitted & stayed there for a week. After mom returned home, we realized that her …
Quick to get vitals and back to a room. I know at least one of my doctors called ahead to let triage know to expect me and why. Jeannette was great and made me feel a sigh of relief that I was in good thanks and could just sit and allow the …
I spent 37 hours in ER (Saturday 6pm to Monday 8am) and only received 2 meals, both in Styrofoam, and room temperature. Went to 10th floor and remained until 6pm Wednesday. Front office came in room early Tuesday morning wanting co-pay for …
I am extremely pleased with how well I was treated. Every Dr and Nurse made me feel very comfortable and eager to help me in every way. The communication with all was very comforting and kept me informed about all aspects of my surgery during my entire stay.
The nurses and doctors were amazing during my delivery. The only thing that sucked was having to do paper work while I was in labor after I had already pre-registered and gone to the birth center to register for when they were suppose to induce me. Other then that everything was great
Visit was great! But I was told the staff was sending the social security office my newborns information for a card and they never did. I have reached out to them multiple times to send me her documents so I can do it myself and nothing. Now her medical bill has been denied by insurance.
The overall staff was great. Very good care. The only problem I had was with dietary. I had a one day surgery and had to eat before I could leave. I asked for a turkey sandwich. There was not a sandwich to be found. We were 2 hours from home. The time it took to check out we could have been home. Excellent care.
The staff in pre-op were nice and knowledgeable. My nurses and aides overnight were very caring and helpful. One brought me some Graham crackers about 3:00 AM because I was hungry having missed meals all day. The day staff were also very helpful in getting me up and walking. I appreciated all of them.
I’ve been visiting this hospital with my 11 yr old son for over 6 years now and they are amazing! They’ve been like a second family to my son and I. I really love the stuff and we enjoyed every visit we’ve ever had! And hope to continue our …
I spend a lot of time in the hospital due to my lung disease. Normally Wesley is the hospital they send me to when my primary hospital is full. Wesley is a whole different medical center with a vibe all its own. But I can’t lie, my last …
This second time I attended the ER was a much better experience since their waiting time wasn’t as long as the last time I went in for care. My stay was filled with so much attention around my need by many departments including ICU, I went …
Went in for a D&C and got all my questions answered. And I had a ton of questions. Pre op nurse Amber was extremely kind and informed me of everything she was doing. I had several nurses that were very kind I can’t remember names. Going in …
Great visit for a follow-up Mammogram. I saw the Radiologist and two different nurses, all of whom were very professional and extremely welcoming! I was in and out in no time and Abby (RN) even showed me a short cut out of the radiology department. Thank you, Wesley Hospital, for making me feel important!
ED west docs and nurses were great! One of the docs was kind enough to offer to get me something to drink (I wasn’t the patient). I work in medicine and know how busy they all are so it was amazing for them to be kind enough to ask and get …
At 21 years old I just recently underwent a spinal surgery here. This was my first experience with Wesley and I was overwhelmed with the kindness and care I was shown here. I remember every single nurses name I had bc they left a loving and …
I was in Wesley Medical Center from a Friday evening through the following Thursday late afternoon. I received very good care. The nursing staff was very efficient and attentive to my needs. The food was not overwhelming but it was nutritious. I was quite satisfied with my care
Excellent care all of the way around! Special shout out to night staff in building 4, floor 10 and SICU. Each person who attended to me was caring and knowledgeable and both listened to and answered my and my family’s questions.
I arrived for my appointment at 7 am and the staff didn’t have any of the necessary paperwork (insurance approval or doctors orders) in my file. That would have been fine except that it was originally scheduled for two weeks prior which I …
Once we found where we were supposed to be, it was great. But it would be much better if you guys let people know where an appointment is. It turned out to be in the medical plaza across the street. I called to try to find this out …
Outcome was not what I had hoped for, but the service and care provided during the procedure was excellent, and they all made me feel comfortable. My thanks to the whole team.
It was ok, at first they were on the ball. I sat there forever waiting on a CT that someone forgot to put the order in for so I finally ended up leaving.
I recently had a mammogram at Wesley Medical Center. Everyone from staff at the north entrance check in to the radiology staff were friendly, courteous, & professional.
The PreOp Department Staff was wonderful! They explained everything about the upcoming process for surgical prep. All were very professional and gave great attention to my concerns.
I was in a car accident and the wait for pain medication was too long. They started taking care of other patients instead of taking the couple of minutes it took (when they finally did give me medication) to shoot it through my IV.
From the moment l got into the Hospital till l left cannot thank the staff enough for there kindness throughout. From Will at North Admissions to pre op staff, Meghan in surgery ,post op staff and nurse staff ,PT ,Kitchen, EVS Thank you
I have absolutely nothing but good to say about this facility and staff! They are such a kind , caring and thoughtful staff…very thorough, knowledgeable and competent! I got lost on my 1st day and a nurse escorted me to where I …
The staff was very helpful and courteous. Everyone there helped answered any questions that my family and I had. I was checked on regularly which is always nice while being in a hospital. I saw/dealt with several different nurses/doctors …
Not thrilled with this ER…. Went in for a severe headache and neck pain. The doctor told me I had a general headache. I went in to my primary provider a couple days later still in pain and they found a severe ear infection that needed …
This hospital is filthy, and this last visit isn’t the only time we were put in a filthy dirty room. All housekeeping needs to be replaced, nurses are so lazy so make sure you have someone with you to take care of you or better yet go to another hospital
All the nurses and techs at Wesley were wonderful. I have to say the discharge time is what made me not put a 5 star rating. The food was good. A more comfy bed/recliner needs to be put in for guests. The one provided is horribly uncomfortable.
Been here for 3 days, blood on the floor, 4 finger ozmeters on needle box when we came in the room, debris on the floor not getting cleaned up. Outsid the unit doors, dust bunny has been the for 3 days, even when the door to the unit are …
My brother has been here in the ER admitted to the hospital. We have set in the waiting room for hours. They have not taken his vital signs for hours. Been asking to see a Dr. They tell us he’s busy. We can’t leave because he has an IV …
My step dad came in on a abulance, with big gash in his head, took them 4 hours to actually look at his head. Room was disgusting blood on floors , seringes on floor, beds rails had dried blood on them. Nurses left full vials of blood …
For the most part we had a wonderful experience at our stay with Wesley. There were some staff that didn’t seem to know what they were doing and made us feel unwelcome during the birth of our girl. We however had some incredible staff that …
Dr. Whiddon and everyone on his team at Wesley are so knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant. They certainly know how to make a patient and their family feel special. Many thanks to all the nursing staff who were checking on me every hour or two. I could tell that they really love their jobs & caring about the patient & their family.
I had a good experience there they treat you pretty good I had surgery that it was an emergency and I got it done I got to go home I’m really grateful for that Hospital
I was well taken care of before, during and after my surgery. The nursing staff were phenomenal and did everything in their power to take care of me and made sure I was as comfortable and pain free as possible.
Very, VERY unsatisfactory experience in the ER (in fact, I believe my life/health was put at risk because of it). Once out of the ER waiting room after a couple of hours, and into emergency surgery and a couple day stay, I had fantastic …
It was a little rough because surgery was postponed 2 times. The aids and nurses were wonderful. Felt like I should have been ER cubicle while waiting for a room sooner then I was.
Very professional and personable staff and excellent processes. Caring doctors, nurses and admin staff. PostOp space even had Impressionist print of a French vineyard to give my eyes something to look at besides a medical head wall. They really cared about pain management.
My 13 yo daughter passed out and had to be taken to the ER by ambulance!! We had the worst experience in the ER. We had 1 nurse treat us with respect and dignity. The rest were awful. I’m expecting in November and I hope i do not have this experience when I go to give birth. I’m definitely 2nd guessing this hospital.
My experience was an eye opener. I was pretty sick.. the nurses tried to get an IV but I must of been dehydrated. Well getting stuck over and over triggers me and I didn’t have the strength to be upset, so I opted out of the IV and asked …
The staff was very caring, and helpful. They all did a amazing job. I was well cared for, and anything I needed they took care of it. Was very thankful to get to spend time with my husband before they took me back for surgery. As soon as I …
The staff, nurses and doctors were very acute to my problem. Each in their individual way helped me along my road of treatment and recovery. They all should be commended and told Thank You. Wesley is blessed to have such employees who really do care.
Everything went smoothly. I arrived early, and was able to be seen as soon as I arrived, which I really appreciated since I needed to get back to work.
I recently had back surgery at Wesley Medical Center under the care of Dr. Camden Whitaker and was very impressed with the care I received. Everyone was very helpful, kind and showed genuine concern for me. I would highly recommend them for any type of care.
Whoever does billing for Wesley needs to stop harassing me. I get texts & phone calls for someone who used to have my phone number. I’ve had this number 5+ years but still get texts & calls for this man I don’t know.
I found the medical staff friendly and professional. The check-in/administrative staff were friendly as well; however, there seemed to be some confusion with whether the procedure I had was covered by my insurance or not despite being told …
Everybody at Wesley medical center was very courteous kind and helpful during my stay after my surgery. All the nurses doctors and all the staff we’re excellent at attending to me. I would recommend this hospital to anybody. And definitely …
Amazing treatment from the time I stepped into the outpatient registration. I had a procedure done by Dr. Kyle Rowe he was amazing, caring and made sure he explained everything before and after the procedure. The nurses and anesthesia …
My day at Wesley was met with very professional workers and attention to detail. The only negative comment would be when I was in the staging area right before release, it seemed like my nurse must have been ready to get off shift and …
My Kansas Gastroenterology Surgeon, and the Wesley Medical Endoscopy & Imaging Staff ALL took EXCELLENT CARE of me during my recent procedures. Case in point, while I was waiting for a bed in the Endoscopy unit, they gave me a warm blanket, …
Staff care was very good with them doing their best trying to meet the needs of their patients. The down side was that there were no rooms available. I was supposed to be admitted and I was in the triage room from 8:00pm to 10:45 am the …
When arriving at the hospital, I was greeted by a nice lady who checked me in. There were no other people in the reception room. Since I preregistered online, it took only a few minutes before I could go to the surgery area of the hospital. …
My 93 yo father broke his hip. I got the call and met him in the ER. The customer experience could not have been better. It seemed like every 30 minutes another staff member would brief me. The surgeon himself was in the loop even before leaving the ER. Super accessibility. Tops!!
Had to be there by 8:30 but it was 11:00 before called back. Scheduling could be better. It was a 2 hr drive to get there then to wait nearly 3 hrs before being called back.
Wesley ER in a room that’s now a waiting area and more staff than I’ve ever seen in any one area unless it was the Cafeteria.
There’s a lady in room with us whose been her since 730 pm and not seen …
I would like to start out by saying that the nurses here are great. My ICU nurse, Kym, oh man she was nothing short of an amazing person. Her and her husband both were so wonderful and kind to me while I was there a week and a half. The …
Visiting for a lung-mass biopsy, I was very pleasantly surprised to find virtually everyone I encountered to be pleasant, happy, and helpful. What an incredible team.
Horrible experience this time. Someone actually broke my daughter’s arm sometime after her surgery was over and before she got to the recovery area! She was in for kidney stone removal!
I will not be using this hospital EVER again. How they want me to leave my child that has a disability out in the car by herself. So this way they can call dcf on me cause that is what this hospital does to people
The services provided to me were so great that I felt I had a fun day. Awesome helpful service providers did their utmost to facilitate me to get what I needed. The staff was knowledgeable, organized and knew exactly what is to be done. …
My son was brought in by the Wichita Police Department to be seen for mental illness, and was to be awaiting his hearing to order him as mentally ill and be sent to involuntary commitment. Wesley diagnosed him as suicidal, psychotic, wrote …
It an ok place I won’t go back there ever. They don’t change your bed or even straighten the sheets. I never got a bed bath.the food was terrible. The TV didn’t work half the time. It was horrible experience. I will never go there again. I’ve had bad dreams ever since I left the place.
From the moment of checking in to the moment of leaving was Awesome!!!!!!! My doctor, all the anesthesiologist, nurses everyone is just so so wonderful!!!!!!! I felt safe.
Thank you!!!!!!!
Drs and nursing staff, Jesse was fantastic and all were so nice. Everything was efficient, busy and chaotic with construction…but you wouldn’t know it because they were so wonderful!
I fell and fractured the L4 and L5 vertebrates in my lower back and my local hospital transferred me to Wesley Medical Center where I laid flat on my back for days which was necessary. The nurses and doctors were very nice. They kept me …
Went to ER where I waited 4 hours without any information or consult. Very unhappy with the ER, one nurse in particular when I asked for status, told me he didnt know just there to draw blood, left AMA as result of rude and no treatment
It was the worst experience I very had. I don’t ever want to go back to your hospital again. I was treated so badly by your doctor. I can’t stress enough how much I really wish Wichita would get a new hospital!
Steroid shot for lower back: Checked in at 7:40 for an 8:00am appointment. Informed at 8:45am they were waiting on a “tech” because one had to also be present for the procedure. “We know a tech will be here in 45 minutes.” Are you kidding …
All the nurses was friendly and professional. The doctors were informative and thorough. The change of doctors and different doctors loose some communications to nurses . Overall very good .
My husband was treated like a King the whole time he was in Wesley Hospital. All the nurses, doctors and staff were so kind to him. If you have to be in the hospital this is the place to go.
The administration side of this hospital is terrible. They have messed up every time I’ve been there with billing or insurance filing. This time around they submitted our newborns paperwork without me on it which is now a major issue dealing with the state government. I highly suggest using a different hospital at all cost.
The greatest Nurses in the world. Shift Doctors were very interested in my case and helpful. I guess without writing a book every aspect of my stay was 5 star and everyone including the cleaning staff were very good at their profession and kind and warm ..
I’m convinced people here are totally incompetent. My daughter went into the ER for an ear infection plus she was running a fever. The “nurse” looked into her ear then prescribed her a lidocaine patch and muscle relaxers?! What does that …
Kerri and Deborah were terrible nurses that gave me bad info. Some of the people acting as ptc need a course in professionalism to learn what not to say to patients in their care. My goodness, what a mess! Change your name to Mess-ley!
Birthing center was awesome and the only reason I’m leaving 2 stars. The main hospital was okay but the staff was not near as nice or attentive. Their billing department is absolutely horrendous. My wife and I won’t go here again.
The wait time in the ER terrible. Couldn’t get a hospital room for 24 hours after arrival. They had open rooms but not enough nursing staffing to utilize the rooms. Worse ER experience possible. Everything was better after getting out of ER
Nursing, and medical staff overworked, but exceptional care provided. Dietary staff tried very hard to accommodate allergies. All staff friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and understood everything that was happening, and allayed any fears.
This was a very good experience and the nurses and doctors that were taking care of me did a great job keeping me comfortable and updated on what was going to happen at every stage of my procedure.
Waited over 3 hrs didnt even get seen by an ACTUAL DOCTOR WHO KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING!!! I went in for bleedin in early pregnancy, no ultrasounds, no pelvic exams nada. Had they did that they would’ve caught what the other ER had to catch. Took my blood in the ER LOBBY. Very unhappy with my visit
Very disappointed… horrible nursing staff in ER… rooms were gross and hours went by before we saw anyone! We were pushed out of our room and my mom’s bed was in the hallway ..we had to sit on the floor…I cringe at the thought of that awful day…DO BETTER
The doctors and nurses were so kind caring and thoughtful I had the best experience in a hospital that I’ve ever had there at Wesley medical center. Dr. Grundmeyer was awesome and he personally came to check on me each day I was in the hospital after my surgery they really do care
I was in CCU for 4 days. The first 2 days I don’t remember because of the issues I was in for. The last 2 days I want to give my 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. nurse, Alic, props for being the best nurse at a hospital I have seen in a while. There was one …
My entire experience was very good. The staff was very attentive and friendly. All of my needs were met and I feel that in the future I will continue to go to Wesley Medical Center
The hospital was very unorganized not will spaced out. Tons of people everywhere. Definitely not worth dealing with. The doctors and staff were very friendly it was just very hard for them to focus on one thing.
This pertains to the er: The doctor I had was super nice but due to over crowding people were given Ivs in the waiting room. Elderly people forced to sit in uncomfortable chairs for 6 plus hours while waiting. Not enough wheel chairs for people who needed them. Took over an hour just to get discharge paperwork
I was shocked to see that face masks were still REQUIRED because $cience, obviously. Was hoping that what I believed to be a top-tier medical facility was using facts and data instead. As for the professionals that I worked with they were awesome!
First time to go to Wesley Medical Center. I was extremely impressed with all the employees there, from the ones downstairs that checked me in, to all the nurses and doctors tending me,to the ones that released me to go home. All were knowledgeable and helpful throughout my stay.
I was fairly happy with my care at Wesley. The nurses did a great job and the check in process was very easy. It was difficult to get attention in the middle of the night. I had to wait an hour for someone to come turn off the loud beeping of my IV and also get my pain med started again.
The nurses were the best I’ve ever had take care of me. Professional but caring . I could never say all of the nice things I feel about these women. The other ladies were terrific as well.
Had a scare with a very high pulse. Got me in immediately. Every one from the PA to the nurses was extremely kind. Doctor came in later and was very thorough explaining everything to me. Very good experience. Hope I never have to go back but it will be first choice if I have to.
I was born here in April of 2000 and very likely would not be writing this comment if not for the work of the ICU doctors and nurses here. My mom’s placenta was choking me when I came out for roughly half an hour and I was all shades of …
Best birthing experience I could have asked for. Nothing with my birth went according to plan. The doctors, nurses and staff of the birth center made it remain a comfortable, reassuring, and positive experience for my husband and I as first-time parents. I will definitely go back for any future babies.
Didn’t not help me for my chest pain. Sent me home with little to nothing. People were in the waiting room on gurneys waiting for rooms. Medication was ordered and never given. Glad I didn’t have a heart attack. My husband and I are extremely unhappy.
Medical staff was great. Walking in the front door however left one wondering if anyone knew or cared that I was there. I was the only one present, but It still took an hour for a simple Chest X-ray.
I was admitted on the 19th for robotic hysterectomy and hernia repair. Sent home on the 20th. Then develop an internal bleed and returned to Wichita on the 23rd for a procedure to stop the bleeding. Discharged on the 29th. I was in …
Service staff was excellent, but issue getting needed paper work. Medical necessity forms should be available when surgery is performed but for some reason this hospital does not fill them out and give them to you.
I recently had surgery at Wesley. All the nurses and staff were excellent. The only thing negative I have to say( and I’ve seen this in other hospitals as well ) is it’s incredibly dirty. Floors and where the xrays are put up had months …
All the medical staff from the doctors, nurses, physical therapy, and dietary department were all friendly, very helpful, and answered any questions and concerns efficiently. They also accommodated for my daughter to stay with me during my …
If you have to go to the ER and happen to receive care from Dr. Aaron Lentz consider yourself blessed, because if he EVER starts his own practice I will be his first patient. He is compassionate, caring and understanding. He takes his …
Delivered our baby here and I must say the experience was awesome. The staff members were very supportive and pleasant. My nurse even moved me to another room due to the construction being done in the next room. She was very sweet and …
Great if you want your loved ones to die alone after a surgery with a high sucess rate, lost In a beaurocratic understaffed mess. Especially if you don’t want to be contacted when there are complications and only when they pass.
Arrived at 8 am. Not many patients there yet. There is construction around ER, making it difficult for staff and patients alike. No privacy-when speaking with med techs, nurses. Some patients whom were very ill were placed in large waiting rooms with others, because they had not enough rooms to put patients in.
We decided to have our son at the birthing center and I cannot say enough good things about all the staff we encountered! Everyone was so helpful and friendly!
Cardiac Rehab is a wonderful, professional and exceptionally helpful service offered at Wesley. If you or someone you know has a heart incident, I highly recommend Wesley Cardiac Rehab!
My experience with Wesley was exceptional. Everyone I interacted with was professional and kind. I was very confident and grateful about the testing I underwent and the attention I received.
Wichita Wesley hospital I thought that surely this hoßpital would grant me the imaging that I want and that I need to get rid of the poisen thorn inside me but yet they are just like the others they are closed minded and do not listen to their patients. So if you wish to die do to lack of medical help be first to go here
I received great care from every nurse and every physician I encountered. I feel very blessed to have a quality medical facility like Wesley in our community.
Don’t go here until the construction is done. I didn’t exist to them when I went to the ER for passing a kidney stone for the first time. They almost lost my urine and I had to have an IV put in in front of everyone and sit in the siting …
The nursing staff we’re good and all the drs and residents were all good but the hospital was absolutely disgusting nasty dirty and they don’t clean the room cause someone was discharged from the room and there soiled bedding was still in the room yuck. Wesley you can do way better.
Emergency room efficient, professional. Took care of patient with concerns on quickly diagnosing and treatment. Never been in an ER that worked this well. Also concerned with cost to patient
Everyone was very, kind, helpful, caring. Thank you! However, the information given me concerning treatment was totally wrong when I had a follow-up visit with a specialist. Really upsetting and disappointing.
Results came back negative, thought it would take a week. Came a day early! The only problem or difficulty was not being able to wear deodorant or perfume. I’m super satisfied with the service I received.
Went to Wesley on Hillside to get CT scan because the scanner on Tyler was broke and Terri the CT admissions nurse at the Hillside got me in even though they had appointments before me and with little or no waiting time was scanned and on my way!! Easy and stress free, Thank you Terri and the rest of the staff there!!
Went in for injury that happened a month ago and not healing. Thankfully I was sent to wound care and am now on the long road to recovery. Holidays may not be so joyful, the healing is more important at this point.
Dr Hild was patient and amazing during the birth of our first baby. The labor and delivery nurses were very helpful and comforting! Had a great first experience at Wesley birth center.
I was so impressed by how friendly, caring and respectful the staff at Wesley was when I was in the ER. Not just to me but everyone who came in and went out. Compared to the other hospitals in Wichita, Wesley is above them all!
The service I received after my surgery 11/10/2022 at Wesley Medical Center was the worst service. I will not complain about the night shift nurses. They did very good taking care of me.
Wesley has the greatest staff. They handle things very well for being understaffed (and in my opinion they are extremely underpaid). The food… not so much – definitely can tell where budget cuts are made.
I went in through the ER on a Thursday night. I had good care in Er and the floor. Great care on Friday. Saturday came and it seemed like I got the Junior Varsity team.
Poor lady at the south registration was over run and a few of the people were loud about their complaining. I had to wait to be escorted to my test even tho I knew where to go. Even the gal that came to get me siad I could’ve walked up to …
The doctors, nurses and staff are always great. The cleanliness, check in, and parking was terrible. I definitely think there could be a better way to go about registration/ check in for appointments or calling before hand for directions.
Staff was very nice. Temporary waiting rooms were awful. There should of have been a better system in place due to the construction in the building. Had sick people with hurt people in a small room, way to close to each other! Not a clean environment.
DO NOT bring your loved one to this hospital. My dad is sick- was brought to ER, they say he has to be admitted possibly to ICU.. we’ve been waiting in ER room for seven hours! They’re response when we keep asking what’s going on? “We are …
DO NOT USE! I had an emergency 4/2022. The bill was approx $1300.00. I paid it off by 07/2022. August 2022, I was receiving bills from Medicredit saying I owed them $547.00, yet I have a letter saying I owe $0 and paid in full. Medicredit …
The Birthcare Center was absolutely amazing! I had such a great experience there – the nurses were wonderful & I felt completely comfortable the whole stay.
Got me in quickly but pure chaos after that. The nurse would come in and tell me they were reading my X-rays when I didn’t even have X-rays done yet then sent me to the waiting room where everyone else was waiting. Other pts were waiting in the waiting room with IVs just waiting. So odd.
My only thoughts are. If truly a procedure is going to happen later than you were told. Be honest with patients. Nurses/ Doctors were great and seemed to take concern with my situation
Tried to have my procedure done at Surgicare because they could get me in sooner than Wesley. I should have waited. The procedure at Surgicare was called off by surgeon because the anesthesiologist had problems with intubation. Rescheduled …
My experience with the heart department at Wesley Hospital was as poor as I have ever experienced in my numerous hospitalization. It culminated with being released and told that it was all in my head, then going directly to the VA …
Was told from Dr to go straight to hospital for admittance at 3pm. Came straight here, went thru main entrance asked three different people where to go. They didn’t know and said check with ER. I go to ER and tell a young lady with blondish …
Wonderful nurses and residents at the birth care center. They were ready to help with anything as needed. Thanks so much for the great care I and my baby were given.
Treated me well.the beautiful P.A. was extremely nice did thorough job my broken wrist and gash stitches in .y head. Overall experience T
At Wesley was very very good
The nurses were very kind and seemed to be very happy and did a great job caring for me.
Dr. Bopano did a great job and for that I am very thankful.
May God bless you all as he has me.
My visit was amazing. The nurse made sure i was comfortable for my 2hr scan, she was personable and genuinely sincere that she cared. She had a great senseof humor. Thankyou
Ok the overall surgery went well, however the breathing tube that was placed in my mouth/throat damaged my throat. It took a couple weeks to hear and was uncomfortable and painful to swallow during the healing. Guys please be more careful when inserting tube in a patient’s throat.
The Drs and nursing staff on the 9th floor of buildings 4 were wonderful. Dr Ojile(hospitalist), Dr Jones (Infectious Disease) daily answered all our questions and followed up if not able to answer at the time. The Nurses and Aides (too …
Worst hospital visit ever. Unorganized, not exercising so many feet seperation, having us in a tiny waiting room. The “dr” and I use that term loosely seen me fast within like 15 mins of getting there they treated me for a “migraine” which …
My stay at Wesley Medical Center was the worst hospitalization I’ve ever had to endure. Half of the nursing staff was contract for hire and treated patients terribly. The other half of the nursing staff was competent and treated patients …
Professional staff was excellent. Night staff ripped a IKG sticker off of me taking some skin with it. Some confusion on follow-up appt. Heart valve operation at 3;00 pm Wednesday and went home 3;00 Thursday. Surgical staff is perfect.
Please, I can’t afford a lawyer and this hospital knows this . There is a doctor there Middle Eastern Sam B , I have reason to suspect that he fraudulently charts on his patients in the ER. They wouldn’t treat my daughter for her diarrhea …
Worst experience ever. I came in with a sharp pain in my upper abdomen and had to wait almost 2 hours before they gave me pain meds. I eventually had to get a gall bladder surgery. The doctor that treated me in the ER was ready to send me …
Scheduled for eye surgery. Told to arrive at 6:30am, and surgery would be at 8:00am. All events, prescreening, lab work, etcetera, were flawless. My surgery was not performed until 10:30am. Inconvenient to my ride giver. Otherwise all was …
I needed some outpatient testing done and had called the day before to ask if I could just drop off a sample. I was told I could. I show up with the sample already labeled and in a bag. I had to sit around for an entire hour just for …
I went to the ER for back pain that is do to a collapsed vertibra. They drew blood and did urine test. Gave me a pain shot and said all my labs are fine. So sent me home I could barely walk or stand to sit. Not sure I will ever return do to them not doing anything but lab work.
My daughter is in ER with fractured wrist. We asked for paint medicine and have been waiting for over an hour. Nurse finally came in the room and said she hasn’t had time to call Dr about pain meds and proceeded to tell us that she is too …
I called to see where they discharged grandma, the receptionist was very nice and transferred me to where she thought they could help me. The next lady however asked me for the name and then hung up, did not say anything. I just want to know where my grandma is.
Communication to my family was lacking, natasha hung up on a family member, whom called back the nurse (natasha) was rude and unwelcoming with information. I was never given a passcode on arrival day, nor was my family when natasha asked …
wesley is the hardest hospital to navigate, ever. everyone we came across was so helpful getting us where we had to go. even the janitors were awesome. some nurses didn’t know where we needed to go because they only know their area but …
The most sloppy and unprofessional hospital/ emergency room I have ever been too. I truly give this place negative 5 stars. There are some people that work there that are professional and are equipped with proper customer service but …
The whole ER team from when I was checked in, to the nurse, doctor and register, lab tech, X-ray tech they were all so nice. I have pretty bad anxiety and they never made me once feel stupid or crazy if anything, they helped me more than my personal doctor. It made the whole experience so much better.
I had surgery after I broke my arm. Everyone was great and the experience was as good as it could have been. The nurses, doctors, anesthesiologists, and even the guy that pushed my wheelchair out to our car at the end of the day were excellent!
Incredible! Within the first 15 minutes – I was in a room, EKG & Chest x-ray completed, IV in place and a general history taken!! AND the Dr. stopped by.. The Wesley staff was above board professional and concerned – I was assessed and encouraged to seek follow up with my pulmonologist – Amazing! I thoroughly felt seen.. Thank You!

The doctor and his staff I saw were wonderful as always – caring and skilled. The person I spoke to in Admissions didn’t have a clue about my arrival. They had no record of my appointment. Fortunately my doctor and his staff “fit me in” so I didn’t have to come another day.
Well cared for from the moment we walked into the Administration room where anxious patients waited to be called to the moment we left the hospital after the procedure the same day. A friendly, competent, informative medical team with experienced “hands” and a wonderful sense of humor.
It was a terrible experience. My GI team did not address my questions and concerns. They are much more interested in performing more procedures than in informing the patient of their results, The GI team also did not communicate with the …
My surgery went well on 10/12, the nurses that I had on that day were not responsive to calls, I am glad my son and wife were there. The nurses on the evening shift were great. Even though I had turned in all my medications in at my preop appointment they had no record of them and didn’ t receive any until the day I left.
Dr. Lehoczky is the best OB! I love her so much. The entire staff that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting all have been so good to me and shown so much care. Grateful for Dr’s and staff who love their patients.
I had great care from intake, through pre op and post op. However, once on the floor, the good care ended. I was left off at my room – alone – got into bed and received a two hour old meal. After eating some pears and drinking a bit, I …

As far as I’m concerned your services suck. I went into the hospital by private vehicle instead of ambulance. Ambulances are very expensive I had a car accident. Since I went in by private car. All Wesley ER staff did is X-ray my chest. …
I was in the ER on 6/16/2022 around 5-6pm. I had dislocated my right shoulder back in September 2021, then I had an accident on 6/16 where it popped out again. I was extremely stressed and in horrific pain so my husband brought me in with a …
Everyone was very nice and helpful. The staff were caring. For such a large hospital, staff made me feel important. I am a nurse in a rural area and appreciate everything they did.
Writing is Don Patrick husband of patient Judy Patrick. Her care at Wesley was A++ from time of admission to discharge. I can not name anyone in particular who was exceptional for fear of omitting a name[or not knowing a name]. My wife …

Was scheduled for 1130, nurse said I wasn’t on schedule until 1230. The nurses never checked in on me the whole time I was there. Then at about 1pm they said the Dr had an emergency and couldn’t come till 130 or 2. Didn’t start until about …
Amazing staff. They made my birthing experience so incredible because I was terrified being a first time mom. Doctors and nurses were so helpful and supportive and encouraging during delivery. I couldn’t thank them enough!
We had an amazing experience here at Wesley in the Labor and Delivery, NICU, and Newborn Special Care sections. We didn’t really know how to choose a hospital to begin with but once we were at Wesley we knew we made the right choice. All of …
speaking on behalf of my wife, I was very impressed with all of the nurses she came in contact with. Each demonstrated knowledge, skill and compassion in their dealings with her. I certainly appreciated the contact before, during and after her surgery keeping me updated as to her progress.

Everyone was especially nice, but the recovery nurse. I couldn’t urinate, so had to stay longer. She was not very nice about it and kept trying to rush me. It must have been time for her shift to end. I did not like that at all. I went home without peeing. My experience was great up in till then.

I was treated with dignity and respect from the moment I entered the hospital via the south entrance. Everyone I interacted with was absolutely great and made me feel at ease as they told me step by step what would be happening during my pre-OP testing. My experience was very positive.

I had the best care at my stay in Wesley. My nurses, Jackie and Lydia, were awesome. They were friendly, upbeat, comforting, and very kind. They explained the procedures and after care completely. This helped take away much of the anxiety going into the procedure and after.
Wesley is unorganized. We filled out paperwork online, then a nurse called to fill them out together again. When we arrived at the hospital, first we were given paperwork to consent to 12 items. If we had read them all, we’d have been …

I’ve only stayed at Wesley for C-section’s and I was WELL taken care of both times. Dr. Melissa Hague and her team were amazing and so kind to us. The ladies at the birth care center were also fantastic. I felt safe and well cared for. Couldn’t recommend Dr Hague and the birth care center enough!
I came in via emergency to Wesley Medical. I was in fear of losing my life! I was losing massive amounts of blood and I was from out of town. The care I received, was PHENOMENAL! I wish I could name all the staff from the doctors to the …
Showing up at the hospital for surgery was not a very friendly experience – I was lucky that I had been there before, so I pretty much knew where to go. It would be helpful to have someone there, especially before 5 am since you have people …

I visited Wesley for a surgery, 3 days in the hospital. The nurse I had the first day….LOVED her. The remaining days, not so much. I imagine a primary complaint would be not receiving pain meds in a timely manner….they def did that. …
My experience at “the baby hospital” was great. I went in for an induction and ended up needing a c-section. Even though this was not my desired outcome it was still the right choice and I felt confident in this and that the doctors and …
My experience at Wesley was the best I have ever had in 71 years and multiple surgery’s. Meds were on time every time and each service was done with professionalism. I can’t say enough.

This bad experience is regarding the loss of our belonging while staying at Wesley hospital in Wichita. In the 1st week of August 2021, our 93 years old mom admitted & stayed there for a week. After mom returned home, we realized that her …

My experience was very positive. The staff were friendly and attentive. I gave it 5 stars!

They were extremely swamped! However even through all the waiting, the staff was doing everything they could for everyone who came in.
The facility and staff were great! I really liked my nurse Allison.
My brother had a stroke and the ER staff acted quickly and took care of him right away. No waiting.
Everything was great except the wait time from the emergency room to CCU. All the staff was awesome, took great care of me!!
Everyone was top-notch from registration to discharge. Very satisfied with my surgery and hospital stay at Wesley.
ED west docs and nurses were great! One of the docs was kind enough to offer to get me something to drink (I wasn’t the patient). I work in medicine and know how busy they all are so it was amazing for them to be kind enough to ask and get …
Such a terrible experience. I was told I could go 7 days without liquids or IV. I don’t feel like I should have to at the hospital.
Came for pre op appointment. Everything went wonderful, answered all my questions and gave advice on recovery suggestions.
I arrived for my appointment at 7 am and the staff didn’t have any of the necessary paperwork (insurance approval or doctors orders) in my file. That would have been fine except that it was originally scheduled for two weeks prior which I …
Aside from HAVING to be in the Hospital, everything and everyone was great. Nurses in ICU were super good.
Thank you to all of the amazing Doctors, nurses and staff who saved my life!! I love all of you!!
James Branstetter
Everytime i have delivered. I have always had a great experience by everyone there!
The surgical floor after my surgery was excellent . I had very little wait time if I needed them and all were very pleasant.
Excellent experience for out patient check-in through all pre-op lab work & follow up. Very professional & everything moved swiftly.
No hospital is a fun place to be, however, the staff was very friendly & attentive.
Every encounter I had with staff members from multiple departments exhibited professionalism, courtesy, helpfulness towards me as a patient.
From the moment l got into the Hospital till l left cannot thank the staff enough for there kindness throughout. From Will at North Admissions to pre op staff, Meghan in surgery ,post op staff and nurse staff ,PT ,Kitchen, EVS Thank you

Tops!!
I had a total knee replacement the staff was very professional and helpful I was only there for one night of observation after the surgery
Had to be there by 8:30 but it was 11:00 before called back. Scheduling could be better. It was a 2 hr drive to get there then to wait nearly 3 hrs before being called back.
The staff at Wesley’s imaging center were amazing. They were attentive, caring, professional and friendly. …

Nurses was great but everything else was horrible from housekeeping to good to Dr assistant. Left with no answers still in pain and still throwing up.

It an ok place I won’t go back there ever. They don’t change your bed or even straighten the sheets. I never got a bed bath.the food was terrible. The TV didn’t work half the time. It was horrible experience. I will never go there again. I’ve had bad dreams ever since I left the place.
Even though I ha surgery, the nurses and other staff coming into the room was very pleasant. The food was delicious.
From the moment of checking in to the moment of leaving was Awesome!!!!!!! My doctor, all the anesthesiologist, nurses everyone is just so so wonderful!!!!!!! I felt safe.

Drs and nursing staff, Jesse was fantastic and all were so nice. Everything was efficient, busy and chaotic with construction…but you wouldn’t know it because they were so wonderful!

Went to ER where I waited 4 hours without any information or consult. Very unhappy with the ER, one nurse in particular when I asked for status, told me he didnt know just there to draw blood, left AMA as result of rude and no treatment
This is Carl Wenger. My stay in Wesley Hosp was a good experience. Fantastic nurses and very good care. Dr Khicha was the best 👌 …
The check-in ran very smoothly and quickly. After that, all of the health care providers were excellent – both during my procedure and after.
She was very sweet and …
My surgery and subsequent care was very good. I would recommend Dr Uppendall and Wesley Hospital to anyone who needed medical care.
Great if you want your loved ones to die alone after a surgery with a high sucess rate, lost In a beaurocratic understaffed mess. Especially if you don’t want to be contacted when there are complications and only when they pass.
Sam in radiology was great. She showed compassion and very thorough with the exams she did on me.
All of the staff I encountered gave me 150%, the care was professional and compassionate. Truly the best hospital experience I’ve ever had.
I had surgery here a few days ago. Surgeon and pre op nurses were great! I can’t say the same for the post op nurse. She was cold and rude.
My experience was excellent for my 2-day stay at the hospital. Nurses were attentive and nice and kept me up to date on tests and examinations.
Thank You!
My husband had to have Colonoscopy and Endoscopy done during a recent visit. My husband has PTSD from a medical stay in another hospital years ago. So he was very stressed. But the doctor and staff were so kind to us, friendly, and …
My Dad’s care was excellent from the moment he checked in at registration, had a CT prior to surgery, pre-op, post op and CPCU . As a family member I was checked on several times in the waiting room and always informed of my Dad’s care and …
The doctor and his staff I saw were wonderful as always – caring and skilled.
After eating some pears and drinking a bit, I …
Seems like a lot of people in and out of my room, but I understand they all have a different job to do. I had a bit of brain fog due surgery meds. I was treated with care and respect but think they were understaffed and were rushing from …
As far as I’m concerned your services suck.

Amazing staff. They made my birthing experience so incredible because I was terrified being a first time mom. Doctors and nurses were so helpful and supportive and encouraging during delivery. I couldn’t thank them enough!

speaking on behalf of my wife, I was very impressed with all of the nurses she came in contact with.
