  1. I am a contractor and deal with West Knox for some of our houses. They have always provided exceptional service. Very friendly and quick to resolve problems. We recently had a pump problem late in the afternoon. The tech came quickly and …

  2. every time any confuses with billing system !
always 2.50$ fee for electronic payment ! first time seen like this !

    If I could put 0 star , I would !

  3. They left a plug in the sewer lines which ended up backing sewage up into my office, they came in with a company which ripped out the carpet and then put in six machines plugged into my power and ran them for 6 days (on my power)…then it …

  4. Everyone I have spoken to personally has been nice, but the online service is archaic and a pain to use, plus they charge to a fee to pay online. I am looking forward to moving in the coming year so I will no longer have to deal with this service.

  5. They are money hungry lairs the customer service ppl are so rude they take pride on money not their customers even when u call amd make a plan they say they will honor it but two days later ur water is shut off and they done tacked 150 to ur bill useless waste of space

  6. Never had a problem with the company. The only interaction I have with them is when I go to the office to pay my water bill and everybody in that office are very nice to me.

  7. the office staff in beyond rude and condescending, INCLUDING the office manager whom laughs at you and tells you something was NEVER said to you when in fact is was, truly one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in a very long time. Maybe these PEOPLE need some manners counseling OR A REALITY CHECK

  8. Extremely High Rates! Over $100 per month for one person! Gouging Customers! Water bill is higher than gas/electric bill. Something is seriously wrong! Have a leak after they dug my yard and ran a camera from my house to the main line. Can’t get them to address it. HORRIBLE SERVICE!

  9. One of the worst utility companies that we’ve had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with. Customer Service is always rude and very unhelpful. They charge for services not rendered and will not remedy the bill. Crooks to the core.

  10. Rude, treat you exactly how a conpany that knows you dont have a choice would. Plus 25 bucks just for someone to come read the meter with a barcode scanner is theft. They are the epitome of government service. …

  11. I truly do understand why water is so high, the website is a whole mess, you can’t even pay after hours, this is system thats meant to hold you bk, you can pay and pay ND it just keeps going up, their rates are wayyyy to high. Its ridiculous what it takes to just live

  12. All payments have been made and one day I come home to no water and the meter has been removed. I called, was accused of tampering with the meter, have been refused service, all while being paid in full… Thanks a lot for not following …

  13. I have had the most wonderful experience for over 20 years with WKUD. I recently had a clog in a sewage drain and Tyler was quick and professional in finding the problem. His camera man Will is a master at working the camera through the …

  16. customer service is rude and unhelpful. Why is there an application necessary to be filled out just to transfer a bill from a roommate moving out? Why must you make things difficult that can be easy?

  17. These people don’t answer the phone, return calls, or respond to messages left on their “contact us” page. The two times I have dealt with them in person, they were combinations of rude, uncaring, and/or ignorant. I have been a customer for …

  18. We moved into a new house in the same district and transferred service with a new account. My auto-pay was discontinued and my water was shut off with no notice. A cursory email or phone call would be nice.

  19. Not only are the water/sewer rates very high in this district, but they will not give you a break on sewer costs when filling a pool or when your water main breaks. Pretty awesome to pay for service not provided on those 10,000 gallons… I …

  20. Paid the deposit and fees to begin a new service at my new apartment a week ago. Come home today to find out they shut off the water at the meter. Not even a call or some kind of heads up which could have saved me the inconvenience of their …

  21. This water company is absolutely horrid. The customer service is always rude and unhelpful. If you have issues with your water bill they don’t tell you and just charge you an arm and a leg. Three months my bill was almost 200 dollars a …

  22. I don’t know where the negative reviews come from. They’re by far the easiest utility company to deal with. I setup service over phone and email. I disconnected my service with a simple phone call. They let me pay via credit card with no extra fees and I can see my bill/usage online. I can’t ask for anything more.

  23. Edit: They hire horrible people. This was made very evident during the pandemic. Would not work with me or a relief agency to help me pay my bill down. They treat you as if they’re providing a luxury; not an essential service. …

  24. I mail my payments at the same post office at which their PO Box is located. They claimed to have not received my November 2016 payment or my June 2017 payment. So I called about this recurring issue with them and they informed me that I …

  25. I have always had polite representatives when I called into WKUD. When I requested a copy of the report from the board, it was emailed to me immediately. Thank you

  26. This is the worst utility service ever. They are rude and inconsiderate. Make sure you stay on top of your bill with this company because they will cut your water off with absolutely no warning. They are very expensive. I have never had a …

  27. If these employees had to get a real job in the real world, they would fail miserably and be fired within weeks. Between incompetent and less than pleasant staff and management, archaic website that looks like someone’s middle school kid …

  28. $50 reconnect fee. And I had made a prior payment plan with them when they shut me off. I had First Utility District water service at my old house and my bill was never higher than $35/month, with sewer. WKUD charges $47 just for sewer …

  29. Three gentlemen arrived at 8 am to install a separate water meter for our water sprinkler which will be installed next week. This crew came prior to have everything ready for our contractor next week. They were very neat while installing …

  30. Note evidently their autopay has to pay even before the date shown or you get charged 10% extra every month until you catch it. No warning on the website that they aren’t happy with date or that it would cause issues, and only company I’ve …

  31. The base rate for my water and sewer is $42, even in an apartment complex. When I lived in a house nearby they dug up my front lawn, without asking or informing me, to connect utilities to a new subdivision. They damaged my trees and driveway in doing so.

  32. I’ve been a WKUD customer for 2 years, and they have always provided me with exceptional service. Just recently, during the holidays, we had a major drainage issue (including a sewage flood of our basement), and the WKUD team fixed it …

  33. The absolute worst utilities, scratch that, company we’ve EVER had to deal with. We have had to call several times because of payment issues at which I had always been under the impression had been paid. Without warning they turned off our …
