Western Wisconsin Health Reviews ( 116 )

  1. The system is complicated and ridiculous! I don’t even get to speak to my Doctor or her nurse?! I get sent to a patient liaison? I will be looking for another provider.

  2. My fiance has gone here several times for severe migraines. The doctors here don’t know how to diagnose anything. Slow service. No phone service.

  3. Worst hospital I have ever had to go to had 2 bad experiences had flu last year they checked my blood pressure and said there was nothing else they could do waste of time and money other time had to have a lumbar puncture took them 5 trys to get it worst doctor ever didn’t listen at all just kept on sticking

  4. I vomited a good amount of BLACK BLOOD randomly, went into the ER, they took one blood sample and told me I was fine and to come back if it happens again. I wish I was joking.

  5. Wish there were handicapped door opener buttons by the doors. Impossible to get through the doors independently while using a wheel chair or walker. otherwise I could be totally independent. Sad that option wasn’t added to the “wellness” center. Please consider adding.

  6. Went in with a necrotic brown recluse spider bite. Was treated like a simpleton and given zero information or concern. She gave me a prescription for antibiotics and left the room without a word. I was obviously interrupting someone’s lunch break or something.

  7. I have been here several times in the past month with the same symptoms, except worse each time. They never once tested me for anything regarding those symptoms. They offer medication right away and tell you to “just rest for 30 min and then you can go home and do the same.”

  8. The clinic here is a complete joke dr Morales is a horrible doctor dont even think he knows what he is even doing when u see him. It takes forever to see him and always cancels and always changes his mind on what he wants to do when u see …

  9. Came to get my daughter tested for covid. Was told to drive through the ambulance garage. We waited and waited.. I will not be coming back for anything but to see my primary dr.

  10. The facility is nice in and out, I have not visited much since it was built but when I have the staff has been iffy, I feel like they just want you in and out not always spending the time with you and getting a proper diagnosis the first time!

  11. Brand new facility, Building is very nice and well thought out. Staff is outstanding. The parking lot is terrible, It’s like they designed the parking as an afterthought. They have helped the poor parking by having valet service for the disabled. but, it is a band-aid solution at best.

  12. Very dirty clinic rooms and public restrooms. Seen Laura Beeson was a great person to see. Was very disgusting watching the housekeepers walk around with masks on also wearing dirty gloves through out the hospital major infection issue there. Also could buy a lawn mower for the weeds

  13. Brought my boyfriend in this afternoon into the emergency room like instructed by the triage nurse. He had seen a Dr at the mayo clinic in glenwood city about two weeks ago with breathing troubles. They did an xrays and found he has some …

  14. Any decent physician that’s brave enough to practice there doesn’t last long. I’m on my third primary since they’ve opened their “wonderfully new” location. Even if you manage to find someone decent the billing department will THOROUGHLY …

  15. Why did all the doctors leave? I’m sure all the administrators who constantly lost my info are still there. When this place had real doctors the care was excellent. So good that one could overlook the crummy administrative part. Now? Why …

  16. My wife has been seen for her diabetes. She has been moved from at least 4 different doctors and a “diabetes coach”. All that has happened is her sugar levels shot up to twice what they should be because they keep screwing around with her …

  18. I have athsma, every time I request a refill for my meds! It’s so complicated! It’s almost like I have to beg for my medicine to be refilled!, the nurse twice in two months told me it was called in both times took a week! Good thing I need …

  19. The gal with a 1980s haircut answering phones as a receptionist in the ER Sunday, June 4th, 2017 felt that it was more important to answer the phone than for her to admit me to the ER. …

  20. My daughter saw Dr. Alvey in the ED and he was absolutely wonderful! He was kind, informative and quick. We were in and out in an hour and assured us that coming to the ED was the right thing to do. The community is lucky to have a ED staffed by board certified ER physicians.

  21. I’ve been waiting 3 months for a procedure to find out what’s causing me severe back pain. I’ve called radiology and no one responds. I will be taking my Healthcare elsewhere.

  22. We go to the Roberts Clinic and our primary care provider is Stephanie Waterman. She is AMAZING! She listens to your concerns and takes great care of you. We’re very lucky to have her.

  23. Absolutely disappointed, after 17 years with the clinic our doctor has left 3 times in 3 years. After being told no doctor will prescribe pain meds for a patient who they dont have a history with I was made to feel like we were being …

  24. Arrangement of the new facility and parking is ridiculous. Did anyone bother to consider what might be best for patients? Hard to tell. But it’s literally set in stone now. Might look pretty at first but. But when a person stops long enough …

  25. First experience at this location and I will not return. Doctor didn’t listen to me and what I believed to be the issue. Very short (15mins) with the doctor and he Immediately jumped to conclusions and ran a bunch of lab work which was not …

  26. I did not want to write this but I think it is my duty to warn new patients from harm. Shelley R. Stanton MD is the worst psychiatrist I’ve ever seen. I’ve never had anyone tell me I have no hope with medications until her. She undermined a …

  27. Doctors come and go pretty quickly here. Was assigned a good one fortunately (Dr. Douglas). Have spent the better part of an hour today trying to get a script refill over the phone. Left a message in the morning – no call back. Called …

  28. After all of the family doctors and pediatricians that myself and kids have seen over the last 10 years have left, I refuse to have my kids seen by a nurse practitiiner. After Dr. Grinoles left, that was the final straw, we now drive to …

  29. Wonderful hospital. We delivered our fourth child here, our third VBAC, with Dr Hartung. I was very impressed with the evidence-based policies in practice here. There were no unreasonable conditions or restrictions placed on me as a VBAC …

  30. After several years of going from doctor to doctor for major leg issues Baldwin was the first clinic to ignore my age and actually take a look. That’s why they get one star. Because wound care is amazing……however, I get referred to see …

  34. I saw Dr. Romzek, Orthopedic Surgeon, for a shoulder issue; I was able to make a same-day appointment, had x-rays, and was done in an hour. Dr. Romzek took his time to explain everything that could be wrong and set a plan for me. I never …

  35. After 2 misdiagnosis, multiple double charges (and their unwillingness to negotiate the 2nd urgent care charge after the misdiagnosis), a duplicate vaccination at my previous hospital I am switching to WWH. I seen Sarah Anderson and she was …

  36. Do NOT waste your time with Dr. Douglas. I went to see him for a painful matter and he took 2 minutes (literally) with me and basically accused me of only being there for a note for work. I pay a lot for insurance and pay something for each …

  37. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Hartung. I have followed him from Hudson to Baldwin with my pregnancies. This time I was notified the day of my appointment that they no longer accept my HMO and I couldn’t be seen unless I signed a waiver to pay for …

  38. Delivery was a five-star experience with Hartong! My experience since then with the nurse Brooke is very cold and didn’t even put the Band-Aid on it correctly after giving my baby three shots. Lack of attention, lack of passion and she not …

  39. Went in for a blood draw to make sure I don’t have tuberculosis so I can start my new medication. The woman who was drawing my blood wiggled the needle around when it was in my arm because she kept missing the vein. When she was done I …

  41. I gave birth to my son here a few months ago. The staff was awesome! My mid-wife Kerry Dixon was the best. The experience was by far more than what I imagined. I still continue care for myself and my children at this hospital. I can’t think of a better place.

  72. Some of the doctors here are absolutely amazing. Most I’ve worked with have been great and take the time to listen to you and help you figure out answers. Others I’ve had encounters with not so much and my concerns were blown off, but a few bad experiences don’t come near to the positive ones we’ve had here.
