Charging a 99 year old women $440.00 monthly and that is just on budget pay. Sometime in the winter it is $600.00 +. Shame on you Duke Energy! You need a plan to help out Seniors.

I was scared of Wilson Utilities after reading all the reviews, but we’ve lived here 5 years now, in a 3 bedroom/2 bath brick house with central heat & air, and a wired workshop that my housemate works in every day doing woodworking, and our bill averages less than $290.00 a month…that’s for electric, water, sewer, trash, and gas!
After I alerted Wilson Utility that I was moving all of a sudden my last bill ended up being $1135.00. When I asked for an explanation the only thing that could be said was that it was my previous months bill. They could not give me an explanation of how my bill went from $300 per month to $600, plus the deposit.

We lost power due to a storm and the service department immediately came out even with additional poles out elsewhere. We aren’t associated with other houses but that didn’t limit our priority to them. Definitely appreciate the service department- they always immediately solve the issue being experienced.
