Worst rating worst customer service I ever got they were rude not helpful and not interested in others needs it was a few years back so maybe better but doubtful some employees were just plain mean and again bureaucratic with no real feelings at the time I will never want to personally deal with them again
Same as below. No answer for two days and three or four calls probably listen to them assist other callers for over an hour combined. No other contact info listed of anyone who answers and no machines to leave a message.
they email me my notice to view my bill but they don’t attach the link “view my bill” so again I have to call them and wait 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone and correct this mistake….hello
The water is horrible, the customer service is horrible, the billing is inaccurate, the website sucks! Something very shady going on with Youngstown’s water dept!!! Needs gutted out and restructured completely!!
The city water smells like fish and it’s extremely expensive!!! Look to pay roughly $170 a month. Ridiculous. I hate to shower in it let alone drink it. Youngstown in general needs to get it together!
Absolutely atrocious service. Wait on hold indefinately, rude staff, overpriced service due to gross mismanagement. Thats what happens with a monopoly. If only i had an alternative. Shame you have to post at least 1 star, i wouldnt give them any
Something with the line broke out by the street and now 4 days later still no water! My family has gone 4 freakin days with no water. But I sure bet that they want there money on time. 6 months my lease is up and I will move out of this stupid city!!
The saddest excuse for a “company” I’ve ever seen. Changed out our water meter, and “lost” the old one. Then they made us pay an outrageous “estimate” of what we owed because they lost the meter. Now they shut off our water because we aren’t paying “above and beyond” what we owed. Pathetic. Rude people and shady company.
Poor water quality, horrible billing and customer service. The cost is ridiculous for the quality of water we have. I hope one day we can have water/sewer provided by another carrier.

Rude ! I paid my water bill over the phone and they still came out and shut my water off ! I called tried to give her a confirmation number and got hung up on .
Like all others, you can’t get anyone to answer the phone unless you have all day to wait. Why doesn’t the water dept have a way to view your water bill and pay on line like all the other services in Youngstown? Surely it is not because …
Terrible..have had water shut off repeatedly due to their inadequate ability to process, post, and keep reliable track of record payments. Repeatedly had to go and show them confirmation numbers for bills that were paid and never put in to …

Would give them zero stars if I could. They keep raising sewer rates. $78.00 a month for just one person. The sanitation is where they really screw you. When I moved here 6 years ago, the trash pick up portion of my bill was only …

Been waiting 6 months for them to bring me a trash can when I moved into my new place today they just took the trash can I was using still don’t have a trash can they told me I would have had a month after I moved in
Would be great if they updated the new hours on their page instead of people wasting money on parking because everywhere else opens at 8…the pandemic is over people get back to normal
~$65 a month not to use my water or sanitation seems like a rip-off. But, when I’m not living in some terribly run down area, the woods, on the river, or an active warzone… I call Youngstown home. So all that considered, it’s not that …
They installed a digital water reader directly below the water spout. Now we cant use our water outside. But don’t worry the guy can read the data from the car.
They are full of it I have a broken waterline and they still have yet to fix it this is day 7 but…they waste no time smoking crack in that water department lol even dropped a baggie on the floor this is why they are incompetent
I’ve been calling the water department for 4months asking for a new trash can my previous one has been demolished from a car accident, and all I keep getting told is we don’t have none right now but soon as we get some we will bring you one. Javon from the Water Department is absolutely wonderful. I’m a senior and had no water. He stayed until he had water running for me. So kind and consider. Appreciate his work so much.
We recently moved to the area. There was a mix up with billing because we are renting, so our account was under our landlord’s name. Gave us absolutely no warning and shut off our water on a Friday afternoon, and they are CLOSED ON THE …

Don’t understand how my bill just goes up and down and the customer service is bs
The worst service hands down. If they were a business instead of a monopoly, they’d be bankrupt.

It’s amazing how a government agency can be this bad at customer service. Actually, with I’m not
surpised. No one every answers their phones
The employees as well as the supervisor Ted is very rude and unprofessional. I wish Youngstown had better water service.

Robbery under fraud of service. What if everyone stopped paying then they would have to change their tactics. A new scam on the people. Really!!
